Referrals are hands down one of the most powerful tools in sales, but so many salespeople and business owners don’t leverage them enough! 🧐 In my latest blog, I’m breaking down how to get more referrals, how to ask for them the right way, and how to make the process super easy for your clients. Here’s the thing—referred clients trust you more, convert faster, and stick around longer. Why not take advantage of that? 🚀 If you’re not actively asking for referrals, you’re leaving money on the table. Curious how to start? Referrals do more than get you new customers. They turn the people recommending you into better customers of your business. When someone refers someone to you, they self-identify as someone who believes in your business. And when they self-identify that way, they’ll also act that way. People act in accordance with the way they see themselves. The more they refer, the more they identify as someone who believes in what you do. And the more they do that, the less likely they’ll act in other ways. So, getting customers to refer you doesn’t only get you new business. It makes your current customers better customers of your business. Referrals boost acquisition and retention. If you’re not getting referrals, you’re missing a big opportunity. #marketing #sales #marketingstrategy

#BigSalesTip | Referrals, references, and connections open doors in big sales by providing you with access and leverage. Including a client reference in your case study is an impactful way to pull in testimonials and provide examples to showcase your solution. Here are a few guidelines to create a strong case study: ☑ Brevity: Keep the document on a single-page. ☑ Outcomes: Focus on the specific results that are time, money and risk. ☑ Life-cycle: Give a sense of before, during and after for a picture of not only what was achieved, but what steps and how long it took. Provide the full story. #SalesStrategy #SalesConsultant

My theme this week is all about getting more leads in your sales funnel! Here's your first tip on #MarketingMonday: If you do any sort of referral program or follow-up survey, ask for THREE referrals specifically. If you just vaguely ask for referrals, you're less likely to get any, OR you'll get just one (maybe two if you're lucky). Being specific triggers something in the brain to be helpful and meet a goal. Of course, offering chocolate helps, too.

The lazy content aside, trying to sell too hard in cold calling is always bad and might make you come out as bothersome. Among us business owners, mastering the art of thoughtful and considerate cold calling is key. Here are three thought-provoking tips to enhance your cold calling approach: 1️⃣. If It’s Evident You Can’t Help, Stop Pestering Them: Recognize when your product or service isn't the right fit and respect your prospect’s time. 2️⃣. Listen More Than You Talk: Truly listen to your prospect’s needs and concerns. This not only shows respect but allows you to tailor your pitch more effectively. 3️⃣. Focus on Building Relationships, Not Just Sales: Think long-term. Every call is an opportunity to build a relationship that could lead to future business, referrals, or partnerships. #ColdCallingTips #BusinessGrowth #CustomerEngagement #GrowYourBrand #SalesGrowth #RelationshipBuilding

The power of referrals when generating new business is huge, and it's also estimated that businesses using referrals as part of their regular marketing see conversion rates up to 70% higher. While some people may feel a little uncomfortable about asking for a review or a referral in case they appear desperate for work, it's essential to view this as a business strategy – and a very important one at that. Have you asked your existing clients for referrals? #salestips #sales #growyourbusiness
