High Lethality Risk Alert In the early hours of the morning, at 1:15am, Control Alt Delete took swift action to protect a Survivor of domestic violence. With the abuser set to be released from police custody, we changed the locks on the survivor's home to ensure their safety. Domestic violence is a serious issue, and we are committed to providing immediate support and protection to those in need. This life saving work is only possible due to donations and support from our community. The safety and security within our institutional walls is paramount to not only those that are within them, but also for the safety of the public. Without our officers being at the top of their game each and every shift, not only do officers suffer burnout but often they will go on leave, adding to the over burdened resources already within. This will ultimately come back to the public, whether it is fiscally or with less offenders being put in jail, therefore free to be on the streets. This is one of the biggest reasons that CX Solid Foundation asks for donations and sponsorships from the general public. Our Survivor Reentry Project is the only national program that provides criminal record relief to survivors who have escaped their traffickers, only to be weighed down by criminal records-. These survivors often lose jobs, housing, and even custody of their children. We connect survivors to a nationwide network of pro bono lawyers, trained by SRP, to clear those records and restore their rights and safety. We need YOU to create MORE positive change. The Ask for ANI scheme allows those at risk or suffering from abuse can discreetly signal that they need help and access to support. A trained member of the pharmacy team will then offer a private space where they can understand if the victim needs to speak to the police or would like help to access support services such as a national or local domestic abuse helplines. The codeword scheme will complement the charity Hestia’s UK SAYS NO MORE Safe Spaces initiative by enabling pharmacy staff to offer immediate and emergency assistance. Building on the successful #YouAreNotAlone campaign, this scheme is another way Government is raising awareness of the vital support available through domestic abuse charities and other partners including the police. #boots  #askforANI #domesticabuse #awareness #YouAreNotAlone
