Companies that figure out creative uses for generative AI will be the ones that unlock value their customers. The trick will be to understand the business problem then build AI pipelines that minimize limitations. Finding ways around limited context windows and hallucination are key items. Today I saw a proof-of-concept implementation from my AI team Carta Healthcare that appears to address both these items. We have more testing to do but I think we have unlocked the next door in our journey to bringing true business value with our AI implementations. While it’s important to explore popular solutions such as RAG don’t forget to explore other patterns that may fit your business better.

Since many of my manufacturing clients are asking how they should use Gen AI, I tried coming up with a scalable framework while also aggregating some real-world use cases. Some are just concepts being discussed, while others I've already seen implemented. Since GenAI is rapidly evolving, I'm curious to hear your practitioner feedback.
