Happy first birthday to Andromeda Surgical! It's been an eventful year with lots of progress and increasing excitement about what we're building. We set out to develop autonomous robots to make surgery safer, easier, and more efficient. We knew it would be hard and weren't sure our big product vision was even possible, but one year later we're more confident than ever that we can launch something impressive surprisingly fast. First year highlights: * Built fully functional robot and demoed successfully for a group of the world's leading urologists in just 9 months * Finalizing AI & other software features for an unveiling at AUA next month, then launching into the clinic not long after * Met most of the leading global experts in our beachhead procedure, many of whom have contributed meaningfully to the effort - special shout out to Dr. Fernando Gómez Sancha who has been a game changer * Closed oversubscribed pre-seed and seed rounds with incredibly supportive investors Amazing work from Kartik Tiwari, Rami Abukhalil, Mishaal Ali, MD, Kevin Spevak, Apurv Tiwari, and other team members who have contributed in big and small ways.
