How about you tackle the water companies on this one first, they waste 3.17 billion litres of treated water every day due to unaddressed leaks arising from lack of investment. This loss is the equivalent of 1,268 Olympic sized swimming pools…….! Let’s start with where the real problem lies………! #waterscandal #waterwaste
The water companies like Thames Water, borrowed £12 billion to pay dividends and bonuses - while over 3 billion litres of drinking water leaks from pipes they are contracted to maintain and there were over 399,864 discharges of untreated sewage into UK rivers and beaches. These figures are from the Environment Agency - maybe they should start doing their job and prosecuting the directors of these companies? It's a cruel world.
Imagine also being able to get away with charging your customers the cost of wasting all that product.
Impressive analysis! Have you considered leveraging AI-driven predictive analytics to monitor and manage water distribution systems, allowing for real-time adjustments and significantly reducing waste?
Why don’t you use the powers that you already have to attack the (bay huge margin ) biggest offenders the water companies, until you do the rest is just your waste because no one takes you seriously

8moThere's more important questions that need answering as it's much more complex. What's the cost to update an outdated waste and clean pipeline infrastructure nationally? Well over £100bil and then some. Do we have the money? No Do we have the corporate means to change it? No Do we have the companies nationally that can sustain it? No Can we maintain and get ahead of the national backlog of works pending? No Can we manage waste works correctly to avoid pollution completely against mother nature? No Is there an alternative company that can do all of the above? No Can the taxpayer fund all of the above? No Will private funding cover all of the above? No Can our treatment works nationally keep up with the recycle flow? No Does this list go on? Yes
