☕️𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦!☕️ The number of people that were in shock that I'd be doing auctions on Grand Final Day was interesting... Why there is this insistence in #realestate or in any industry to constantly base decisions or opinions off of the past as opposed to the past, present & future? What I mean is this - experience counts for something of course, but 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗢𝗪, & how perspectives have altered since the last time you made the decision... Then 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. And at the rate of change that we're all feeling right now, that anchor is going to get very heavy, very quickly! The only question you need to ask yourself is this: 𝗜𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 & 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱?🧐 Experience counts. Well, First off, well done to the Brisbane Lions. Little bit of a bore fest for the neutral after halftime, but geez, they played very, very well and deserved every little bit of it. So well done to the Brisbane lines and all of them makes who support them. Tell you what wasn't boring though, Auction action today and we've done it the last four years I think at least and we've sold pretty much everything that's gone to auction on grand final day. Just goes to show team a couple of things firstly. You can't just stick to the standard plan and expect better results, right? But the more important thing is you've gotta understand your demographics now. It really doesn't matter unless you are a diehard Brisbane Line supporter. You will turn up to auctions if it's a property that you want. And there's a lot of people that are first generation immigrants that don't care about footy. Pay attention to your customers gang and get better results.

Are you a Finder, a Minder or a Grinder (or all three)? A 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 is responsible is wining new listings. They build a presence, they prospect and then they pitch. A 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 takes care of the listings won by the finder. Canvassing, inspections and coordinating negotiations. And the 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 is responsible for all of the backend work. Handling paperwork, marketing collaterals and research. Want to increase your production and enjoy your work? Do what you're good at and let someone else do the rest. But what if you enjoy and are good at everything?
