When the clients don’t match your passion or expertise, it doesn’t just hurt your portfolio, it can stifle your creative spirit and even undercut your business’s potential. That's not what you want, right? Here's how to fix it. → 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 Imagine sculpting a niche in a 3D model, where every line and shadow is where it should be. Now, what if you could align your business precisely with your ideal projects? → Here's an example: Meet Selena, the co-founder of TWG Studio Selena specializes in interior design visualizations for hospitality. By focusing her studio's efforts on this niche, especially in the US market, she attracts clients who truly value her unique skills. → "𝘚𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵, 𝘈𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘴? 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴?" - you might wonder. Of course not, there's a process to choosing your ideal niche. This process has 4 parameters Each one of them should be crafted carefully, to make sure you grow now and later. → "𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭." - you might doubt Not only you, that's what most Archviz artists think, It's not only wrong, it's one of the biggest myths that's preventing you and them from growing. → "𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 4 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴" - You might ask You'll get them in May, specifically in the "𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝘃𝗶𝘇 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱" that's happening between 11-13th of May in Karlsruhe, Germany. We’ll dive deep into defining your ideal client, who they are, what they crave, and how they align with your passion and prices. → With just 𝟲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, this intimate setting ensures personalized attention and focused discussion. After designing over 35,000+ sq ft, I've discovered that 80% of my job is balancing my passion for design and the business aspects of my company. - I've been in interior design space for over 5 years now - We grew from 5 to 10+ team members very quickly - My company has seen 100% YoY growth but... There is 1 struggle I faced for too long. The conflict between my passion and business practicality. Thankfully, experience taught me how to handle every situation. If you're still struggling, here's how I've struck a balance: 1. Separate verticals: Create distinct business verticals to manage different types of projects. Pursue passion projects to allow for creative fulfillment and innovation. Use client-driven projects to provide steady income for my firm. 2. Sustaining business: I always remember that I'm designing spaces for others, not myself. I follow client’s vision closely to ensure customer satisfaction I focus on my architecture and interior design projects. 3. Some passion pursuits: I engage in research-based projects to expand my knowledge and skills. I create self-initiated briefs to explore new design concepts freely. My passion projects include artist collaborations and more. Ultimately, the lessons I have learned over the years are: > Make time and resources for passion projects when possible > Be selective with clients and projects when you can > It's okay to prioritize income-generating projects To be honest – I'm still figuring it out. Some days, I feel like I've cracked the code. Other days, I'm back to square one, brainstorming to find a better way. I consider that the beauty of this profession – it keeps me on our toes, always learning. How do you balance the emotional and business sides of your work? #business #Jijointerio #professionalism #interiodesign #balance

Co-Founder of StorySpace™. We honor great real estate visionaires and we promise the change in the real estate that you want to make through your narrative. Your Story behind the Story.
7moAnees Alomar this is exactly my vision and my execution plan. If you don't specialize and especially POLARIZE you are comparable with many others. I honestly believe that there is unfortunately a lot of ignorance about the real value of the visualization. People are only price-driven and not value-driven. I embrace the visual as the only language that really communicates the visions of real estate developers and the fact that visualizers (majority have architectural background) are able to do it so well it's a gift we have and that must be recognized. 🎁💡
