Excited to share I completed the Generative AI for Educators & Teachers Specialization from Vanderbilt University! This comprehensive specialization includes four distinct courses, led by Dr. Jules White: - Generative AI Primer: Foundations of AI like ChatGPT. - Innovative Teaching with ChatGPT: Enhancing education with AI. - GPT Vision: Real-world AI applications. - Trustworthy Generative AI: Ethical and reliable AI use. This specialization has equipped me with advanced skills to transform learning experiences, optimize workflows, and integrate cutting-edge AI tools into education and beyond. I am eager to apply these talents to foster innovation and solve complex challenges. #GenerativeAI #AIinEducation #Innovation #LifelongLearning

From a 10000 feet view, Generative AI in education is like a puzzle piece that is forced-fitted. Tools that try to replace the teacher, mimic the teacher need extensive research with randomized controls. I came across Natalia Kucirkova's article on EdSurge that highlights the reality of AI tools, opportunities and potential challenges. My favorite quote from the article - 'It is problematic that many tools claim to be science-based but in reality, have not been developed by learning scientists and have not been tested in rigorous evaluation studies'. Could Gen AI disrupt the education industry? I believe so, however there are a many questions to be answered about usage, teacher role, controls and much more. #genai #edtech

Crazy idea... Kids today will be using AI as part of their careers, so instead of focusing on detection, focus on helping them learn how to appropriately use AI as part of their learning now (and for their work in the future). #AI #Education
