January recruitment BOOM? 💣 🤯 As we enter the mid point of January, I thought it would be worth talking about the 'boom' at the start of the year, and why it traditionally occurs. * People putting off recruitment over the Christmas period and realising an urgent need in their team * Contracts and agreements often are dated to the end of the calendar year not the financial year - meaning a lot of talent becomes available in the new year which gives organisations the oppurtinity to bring in top tier candidates who were not previously available * In HR - having to recruit for temporary staff to assist with the increased onboarding caseload when the above two points occur If you need help this month with any recruitment in your HR team, pop me a mesage and I am sure me and the team can assist!
