Exploring Types of Inkjet Inks and Their Unique Properties Inkjet inks are not “one-size-fits-all.” Each type is specially formulated for its intended use and has unique properties. 1. #Dye-Based Inks: Known for vibrant colors, these are great for photos but can be less resistant to light and water. 2. #Pigment-Based Inks: These inks have excellent durability and are ideal for outdoor applications or where long-lasting prints are needed. 3. #UV-Curable Inks: Perfect for non-porous materials like plastics or metals. They cure instantly under UV light, offering high-speed printing options. 4. #Solvent-Based Inks: Often used for vinyl or outdoor signage, these inks are highly durable but require proper ventilation during printing. At Borna Chem, we focus on developing and refining these ink types to meet various industry demands. Our team works to enhance each formulation for optimal color, durability, and compatibility with different surfaces. #InkjetInks #PrintingSolutions #DigitalInks #PrintingInnovation #BornaChem #PigmentInks #UVPrinting #TextilePrinting #InkjetSolutions #PrintingIndustry

#Hotstamping process #Hotstamping, also known as heat foil stamping or foil blocking, is a widely - used printing technique. It involves the use of heat, pressure, and metallic or pigmented foil. A heated die is pressed onto the foil, which then transfers the design onto the material surface such as paper, cardboard, leather, or plastic. The heat causes the foil to adhere to the substrate, creating a shiny, decorative, and often luxurious - looking finish. This process allows for precise and detailed designs, including lettering, logos, patterns, and borders. It's commonly used in book covers, greeting cards, packaging, and high - end product labels to enhance visual appeal and add a touch of elegance or prominence to the printed matter.

Overcoming Technical Challenges in Puff Printing Puff printing adds a dynamic texture to garments, but it comes with its own set of challenges. Here’s how to tackle the most common issues to achieve perfect puff prints every time. 1. CONSISTENCY IN LARGE BATCHES Maintaining uniform puff height and texture can be tricky in large orders. Solution: Keep screen tension firm and use a low mesh count (34T – 43T) with an extra emulsion layer. Regularly check and adjust your curing temperature to ensure even results. 2. CONTROLLING THE PUFF EFFECT Over curing leads to cratering, while under curing causes the print to rub off. Solution: Carefully dial in your flash and conveyor oven temperatures. Perform test prints and mix your inks slightly darker to account for color muting. 3. PREVENTING INK BUILDUP & GARMENT DAMAGE Ink buildup can affect print quality and damage lower-quality fabrics. Solution: Keep squeegee blades clean and sharp, use high-quality garments, and consider anti-static sprays to prevent ink buildup and garment damage. Conclusion With the right techniques, you can overcome puff printing challenges and produce stunning, consistent prints. Focus on equipment maintenance, precise curing, and thoughtful design to elevate your screenprinting game. #screenprinting #garment #puffprinting #merch #screenprint

Choosing the right printing technique for your brand is crucial. Here’s a comparison of #sublimation and #screenprinting to guide your decision: ⚾ Print Quality and Durability ⚾ 🏀 Sublimation: Ensures exceptional quality with vivid colors that embed into fabric fibers, offering long-lasting designs that resist washing out, cracking, or peeling. 🏀 Screen Printing: Ideal for simpler designs with one or few colors, providing good quality prints. However, the ink sits on the fabric's surface, making it less durable over time, and prone to cracking, peeling, and fading with washes. Evaluate your design requirements carefully to select the method that best suits your brand's objectives!
