Nothing in business is worth a dime if there is no integrity behind its intention. If we work to achieve success what success is it if not for the love of people. Hanging with this lot is a sheer joy. A team built on substance, care and connection with humanity. What could be more purposeful. #workforpeople #workwithpeople #alwaysmore #teamanna

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 Imagine this scenario: you've been recognized nationally for your groundbreaking work in Healthcare. There’s applause, perhaps even an event in your honor. You return home, eagerly awaiting the arrival of your well-deserved trophy. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn inrto months and... nothing arrives. So, what do you do when you win a trophy, but it never shows up at your door? Perhaps start calling the event planner! Take a step back and think about this—how often in Healthcare do you achieve monumental successes that go unrecognized? No trophies, no awards, just the quiet satisfaction of a job well done. This creates an important question: Is your success defined by public recognition, or by the lives you touch and save each day? Of course, recognition is wonderful, but the real impact of your work isn't always something that can be placed on your desk or your bookshelf. Maybe the real award is in the unseen efforts you give each day—the lives you change and the comfort you provide. Maybe, the true accolades are the ones that don't make it to your mailbox but are felt in your heart and seen in the smiles of your patients and their families. Reflect on your own "unseen trophies." What victories are you achieving that might not be recognized with an award but are profoundly significant? Embrace and celebrate your victories, for they are the essence of your true success in healthcare. I encourage you to carry forward the spirit of your dedication. Recognize each other’s efforts, celebrate your everyday victories, and continue to support one another in your professional journeys. #UnseenHealthcareHeroes #ImpactBeyondAwards #EverydayHealthcareVictories #ToBeASuccess Take a moment to celebrate not just the big, award-winning breakthroughs, but the everyday successes that truly make a difference.

Looking back can sometimes be helpful when we're feeling stuck or unsure of what to do next. When we reflect on our past successes, we can gain a sense of confidence and clarity about what we're capable of. This can help us push through difficult times and keep moving forward. #positivity Reflection and Positivity: In 2018 I was nominated by the Executives at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead, and invited to the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. King Charles and Queen Camilla were in attendance, then as Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall. Why was I nominated? Owing to the continuous good management and development of the Trusts clinical communications system #vocera. Vocera Provides Efficient Hand Free Communications: 1. The trust faced a number of challenges regarding efficient and timely communication between wards, clinical areas and the site resilience team. This was due to the need for staff to answer landline telephones and bleeps which may not be answered immediately. These delays in communication cause delays in patient care, and have a negative impact on the operational efficiency of the departments. 2. Vocera provides direct communications, for example coordinating the transfer of patients from the ED department to other assessment areas; a broadcast functionality to all staff to mobilise workforce at different OPEL levels and escalate response of staff teams to affected areas when required. Vocera Improves Patient and Staff Safety: 1. Clinical staff who use Vocera no longer need to leave the patient to initiate a call. Staff can furthermore use the urgent broadcast functionality to alert security or their own teams, instantly connecting with the right resources when required. 2. Essential in locating and tracking locum staff when needed and vastly improves resilience and response. 3. To assist with admission avoidance, Vocera would allow direct contact with the relevant specialist, this will reduce any delays in patient care and the potential avoidance of admission. Reflection and Positivity: Vocera Manager, 2015 - 2024 I must be doing somethings well. 1. Nominated & Winner 'Employee of the year' - working with others. 2. Nominated & Winner of the 'NHS 70' category. 3. Nominated & Winner of the 'Bright Ideas' award. 4. Nominated & invited to the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace The message and pics below was during Covid-19:
