Guthrie Hospice PA, WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO! The Guthrie Hospice PA team values the Guthrie Values, every patient, every time. Patient centeredness: We ask our patients what one goal is before death. One patient stated, one more BBQ with my family, Hospice makes it happen and then we look for another goal. Quality of Life, not a focus on death, but a focus on life! Service excellence: We get called in the middle of the night because a patient is struggling, we get up, get dressed and make a visit, no matter the time or day! Teamwork: The team pulls together in any situation to make sure that our patients and family’s needs are met. Death is inevitable, let's make sure it is a beautiful, peaceful death!
