Hello everyone! Just a week after starting my engineering journey, I got the opportunity to attend the EDP session organized by JECRC Incubation Centre. It was truly a great experience to be a part of such an informative and entertaining session, which was enlightened by Komal Joshi mam, Manager of JIC. Here are highlights and key takeaways from the session: Characteristics of a startup founder: - • Confidence: It determines personality of a person, and the more knowledge one has, the more confident they are. • Negotiation: A startup founder should have the ability to negotiate with clients; skills to negotiate for money, ideas, opinions, etc.. • Leadership quality: It is one of the most important skills that requires discipline and a responsible person, a person with the ability to manage human resources and understand people's thoughts and necessities. • Time management skills helps us work smarter and more efficiently. • Networking: It helps to popularize and increase the reach of the startup. • Attitude during failures: It is important to see the positive side of failures and learn from them. Design Thinking: - Empathize - Define Ideate - Prototype - Test The most important thing that mam taught us was that entrepreneurship is the skill that can be cultivated by observing our surroundings. ■As a startup founder, it is very crucial to understand what user need, what they says, how they think, what they do, and how they feel. These were some of the points that will definitely help us in the field of entrepreneurship. Looking forward to such amazing and transformative EDP sessions in the future to boost our interest and skills in entrepreneurship. #arpitagarwal sir #dheemantagarwal sir #komaljoshi mam #GauravSharma sir

Day 1 / 7 (29/35) Exploring Entrepreneurship: A Journey of Learning and Growth!!! Just wanted to share my rough workflow for the week tooo !!!! "As a college student with a passion for creativity and innovation, the world of entrepreneurship fascinates me. It’s exciting to see how ideas can turn into something impactful, and this week, I want to share what I’m learning about the mindset, strategies, and stories that define entrepreneurial success. Tamil Nadu, where I come from, has been inspiring for anyone interested in startups and innovation. With its 2018 Startup and Innovation Policy, our state is working hard to create opportunities for entrepreneurs. It’s amazing to see Tamil Nadu aiming to become India’s Knowledge Capital and a global Innovation Hub. I’ve been learning, traits like: Self-belief – Trusting yourself to make things happen. Resilience – Learning from failures and bouncing back stronger. Creativity – Thinking of unique ways to solve problems, are so important to start and grow something meaningful. I’ll be sharing topics like: 1] Basics of starting and building a brand. 2] Stories and lessons from successful entrepreneurs. 3] Why creativity and innovation are game changers. 4] Sustainable ideas for future businesses. I’m also dreaming of starting my own clothing brand someday—something stylish but also meaningful and sustainable. I hope this series helps me (and maybe you!) understand more about what it takes to make ideas work. I’m looking forward to learning, sharing, and growing together this week!!!! #Entrepreneurship #Learning together #Tamilnadu startups #Innovation

Exciting Learning Experience at JECRC University! As a student at JECRC University, Jaipur, I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend an Entrepreneurship Development Programme workshop led by the inspiring Nidhi Kachhawa, CEO of ALC JKLU. This 2 hour session was an eye-opener, filled with creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. During the workshop, we engaged in a stimulating activity that simulated a startup idea meeting. We were encouraged to identify problems in our surroundings and brainstorm innovative, profitable solutions. This exercise not only sparked our entrepreneurial spirit but also highlighted the importance of critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities. The key takeaways for me were: - **Identifying Real-World Problems**: Understanding the significance of being observant and empathetic towards issues around us. - **Creative Problem Solving**: Learning how to generate innovative ideas that can be both impactful and profitable. - **Collaboration and Teamwork**: Experiencing the power of working together to refine and develop ideas. A big thank you to JECRC University for organizing such a wonderful workshop and to Nidhi Kachhawa for her insightful guidance. I look forward to applying these lessons in my future endeavors and continuing to explore the exciting world of entrepreneurship! #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Learning #JECRCUniversity #Startup #ProblemSolving

An insightful article shedding light on the growing recognition of #entrepreneurship in #highered, alongside a notable hesitancy to fully embrace #startup culture. A report outlines the intricate #entrepreneurship landscape within Indian higher education institutions, where 87% have in-house programs for entrepreneurship promotion, but 63% prioritize corporate #jobplacement over venturing into startups post-graduation. Surprisingly, only 7% of colleges focus on entrepreneurship awareness and #mentorship. This juxtaposition of encouraging entrepreneurial skills while leaning towards traditional employment paths poses challenges and opportunities for India's education sector. https://lnkd.in/dZUK8z6P
