Overcoming the Naysayers as a Founder When I first started Richey LLC, I was met with a lot of skepticism. Many people told me it would never grow, said it was too niche, and pointed out that I didn't even own the software. But I saw a need—a need for an affordable solution to workflow bottlenecks and the constant worry of forgetting something or dropping the ball. Despite the doubts, I moved forward with my vision. The passion for the purpose has helped us grow tremendously, not only in terms of clients but also as a team of like-minded individuals. Sometimes, not every win feels like a win, and not every loss is truly a loss. My recent entrepreneurial journey has been a rollercoaster of surprises! Who would've thought that dealing with a massive conglomerate could be easier than navigating a client with a shoestring budget? Simple projects can turn into complex puzzles, while seemingly daunting challenges often become our greatest successes. Thought of growing with others, driven by a shared vision, is exhilarating. Sometimes, market competitors deflate rates to poach projects, adding another twist to this rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship. At the end of the day, I embrace it all—the frustrating moments, the countless cups of tea while clients spill their life stories. Some days, I question if this is a lost cause, but then there are those moments when I'm amazed at how rapidly I'm growing. Story of my First Successful Failure. Part 1/3 - The First Step --- Despite its downfall, I consider this a success because of a long list of gains which I'll mention in the last part.
