Singers, songwriters and singer-songwriters need give nothing more to a song than is already there in the words for the song to sell itself. Composers and performers need give nothing more to a melody than had that melody been conceived of words. Melody is the liquid state of words. It is that very state of words with all its tributaries, that "irrigates" the senses to endear us and connect us so to music. If words are the rafts that carry our thoughts one to another, music is the river on which those rafts float. There are as many ways to set words to music as there are composers and songwriters to set them - to each their own - but the text, for the most part, must commandeer a oneness of words and music in such a way that some literal sense is always maintained. A singer need not "act out" a word in song any more than the act of singing it allows. A singer is an actor in song.

Ska or dancehall can even come close. PART 6. (F) Finally, I have invented the only board game that just one or more players can play, unlike Monopoly which requires the minimum 2 players to play. Are you possessed? When writing the possessive form of a term, consider whether “one of several” is implied. If it is, then the possessive form of that term may be preceded by “of.” For instance, if Mabel has five sisters, we can say, “Lurlene is a sister of Mabel’s” because Mabel literally possesses several sisters, one of whom is Lurlene. But if the meaning of the term that follows “of” is not literally possessive, don’t add the apostrophe and the “s” to that term: “Lurlene is a devotee of classic country music.” Lurlene may be devoted to the classic country genre, but classic country music does not literally possess her, so “music” is not in the possessive form. This tip follows the Chicago Manual of Style.
