As the final day of the 6th World Congress On Disaster Management wrapped up in 2023 at Graphic Era Deemed to be University. The new Emergency and Disaster Management Act (EDMA) takes a proactive approach that reflects all four phases of emergency management: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. It also provides new tools to local authorities during the recovery phase and helps us meet the challenges of climate and disaster risk.
