Still riding the Build Better high! Great event -- truly stellar turnout in an unbeatable venue. 100s of engineering and operations leaders turned out -- here were my top takeaways after asking over 30 people for candid feedback: - The number one response was that everyone *loved* the networking. There are simply not events for this audience. It was great to help facilitate these connections live! - The second most common answer was that they thought the content was truly valuable and engaging -- that it was worth their time to hear practical insights and tactics they could deploy in their organizations tomorrow. - This community is *ready* for change. They came looking for ways to move faster, be more adaptable, and create unfair advantages for their organizations. What was your top takeaway?
Thank you for hosting, I loved the strategic and tactical tips provided in the sessions. I also enjoyed playing manufacturing feud 😄
Congrats Anna for making it happen
I loved the event Anna-Katrina Shedletsky, there was so much to appreciate. Like you I solicited candid feedback from the audience members, some of which are close enough friend to be truly candid, even blunt! Number one was networking, when you bring that kind of crowd together everyone wins. Personally I met many fascinating people that will be podcast guests, featured in my writing, and collaborators on projects. Number two was the content and the way it was presented. I was excited by the agenda and the way panels, interviews and presentations were mixed to avoid any chance of 'death by powerpoint'. Every session added value and bought together those up and down the supply chain, up and down to value chain, and up and down the organization. We got the big picture and the detail, the strategy and the tactics, as well as the real world experience and results of users Numbers three up, we're the great venue (such a good choice), great organizations (kudos to Sara Lepisova and the rest of the team), the relaxed vibe, the fun of the 'engineers vs operation family feud' at cocktail o'clock, the view from the USS Hornet back over the city as the sun set, need I go on...? A great success, congratulations!
