You probably know that I regularly host Purpose Speed Networking events for the community at GoodNorth and I absolutely love it. The connections made, the deeper bonds formed. This is something I’m passionate about. But recently, we started doing them with our distributed Sponge team: team speed networking. Same format, but within the team We pair up team members with a specific topic to discuss, and they always come back smiling. What I see is deeper connections being made. What works for the community also works for our team. It strengthens us because bonds are created. Deeper bonds, deeper connections, especially between team members who might not usually work together. It’s something I’m truly passionate about in the community, and equally passionate about within our team. Have you tried something like this with your team members?

Sometimes you’re just hoping for a sign that you’re on the right track. Yesterday, I hosted my 3rd Executive Roundtable. I invited hundreds. 11 showed up. (Yes, this is the reality of cold outreach.) But here’s the thing—those 11 people made it incredible. They brought amazing energy, open hearts, and genuine goodwill. I know, this is business—but when you do work in alignment with who you are, and connect with people on a deeper level, it’s easy to experience the best in humanity. Because when you’re building something from the ground up, it’s easy to focus on what’s next and forget to pause, reflect, and celebrate the wins. It’s also a reminder that feedback is gold. It helps us grow, improve, and keep showing up. For 2025, I’ve set some big intentions: Build community 🤝 Share everything freely 🎁 Create space for genuine connections 💫 The magic isn’t in the numbers. It’s in the unexpected, magical moments—like the kind words I received yesterday, or the validation in Tiffany’s video (watch below). Peer Network Co-Reflection: Post-Event Recap We had a great introductory session for our Peer Network Co-Reflection. Here’s a glimpse of how we spent the time: We began with a poem share from one of our Better Together members, setting the tone for a thoughtful and connected experience. In smaller groups, we delved into meaningful discussions around: – The aspects of support each person is currently focusing on in their life or work. – What’s going well and what they would like to approach differently moving forward. Through listening deeply to one another, we identified key themes and topics that resonated most during the discussions. This collaborative effort will guide our future sessions, together we chose the theme of ‘Identity’ for our next coreflection. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this session a welcoming and meaningful space. We’re excited to continue these conversations and deepen our collective learning. Because, without social media, my business wouldn't be where it is today and thats a fact! This year, I’m committing to being more present and active on social media. Whether it’s sharing the journey of building my business, the lessons learned along the way, or the moments that inspire me, I want to connect with you all on a deeper level. Social media isn’t just a platform; it’s a community. It’s a space to celebrate wins, navigate challenges, and support each other’s goals.
