The Harmony in Gratitude and Belonging: A Thanksgiving Reflection Thanksgiving invites us to pause—to reflect on our blessings and to consider how gratitude connects us to something greater. Gratitude is more than a solitary act. At its essence, it is deeply relational, flowing outward to strengthen our bonds with others and the communities and systems that nurture us. It helps us honor the “Me” and embrace the “We,” creating coherence within ourselves and resonance with the world around us. Over the past few days, I've been considering the ways in which gratitude and belonging guide us toward purpose—and its ongoing journey. When we recognize our unique gifts and contributions, while also connecting with the collective wholeness we’re part of, we unlock a deeper sense of alignment and fulfillment. With this in mind, this Thanksgiving, I invite you to join me in reflecting on.... ❓ How you honor your individual blessings while contributing to the wholeness of your communities? ❓How might gratitude and belonging help you navigate the balance between “Me” and “We”? If this resonates, I invite you to join me in my exploration of gratitude and belonging here: [https://lnkd.in/eV6t3kpU] So, beginning with this Thanksgiving, let’s dare to dream of a world where gratitude shepherds our becoming—a world where “Me” and “We” co-exist in harmony. Let's treasure gratitude and honor belonging, co-creating a future for all rooted in purpose, coherence and our very humanness. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Belonging #Purpose #Humanness #Reflection #DareToDream

Some years ago I started a Gratitude Journal and while I've since stopped, it sparked a new way of thinking. Have a beautiful Thanksgiving.

Gratitude and Contribution make a full circle. We give (work, family, community, etc) and we receive (by similar experixenes) Gratitude offers us the opportunity to acknowledge, and therefore, understand our place in the continuum. Thank you for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm grateful that we met up IRL this past summer for what was an inspiring and delightful conversation. I learned a lot about you Anne that I may not have discovered had we not met up. Thanks!

Interesting how the ritual of gathering around the table with good food and company magnifies this communion isn't it?

Love the framing of gratitude as "we" over "me." I've never thought of it from this POV

Gratitude is more than a solitary act. Love that line Anne Bahr Thompson. I'd go so far as to say it's not a solitary act. It's relational. It cannot exist in isolation of other people or context.
