Stop conducting your trainings as if you are teaching children. For your trainings to be effective observe the following principles of adult learning : 📌 Adults are internally motivated and self-directed. 📌 Adults need to draw upon their own life experiences and knowledge. 📌 Adults are goal oriented. 📌 Adults are relevancy oriented. 📌 Adults are practical. 📌 Adults need to be shown respect. This publication, though old, is timeless. I like the practical exercises it gives to promote learning and reflection. Well worth reading and hitting the re-post button. ------------ 🛎 Follow me to be notified when I post new content #facilitation #training #FacilitationSkills #AdultLearning

Love your way of presenting long-form content in a bite-sized format. Its very inspiring as someone who loves creating long-form content. Would love to try something like this soon!

So true, thanks Ann-Murray Brown 🇯🇲🇳🇱. Most times I sit with adults who need to overcome their school years and want to discover fun in learning again. The same patterns hold true for youth. 📌 Youth are internally motivated and self-directed. 📌 Youth need to draw upon their own life experiences and knowledge. 📌 Youth are goal oriented. 📌 Youth are relevancy oriented. 📌 Youth are practical. 📌 Youth need to be shown respect.
