Why I joined Motion (Creative Analytics)? The culture is built on Empathy and Connection. Our leaders all walk the walk. From our founder Reza to our department heads like Evan and James, every single one of our leaders has spent time in the trenches doing the actual work. They've been the ones: 1. Buying the media 2. Writing the copy 3. Designing the creative And because of that hands-on experience? They have a deep, visceral understanding of what it takes to succeed in those roles. They know the challenges, the frustrations, the little victories that make it all worthwhile. And that understanding? It informs every decision they make as leaders. It allows them to: 1. Empathize with their teams on a granular level 2. Anticipate and address issues before they become roadblocks 3. Make strategic choices that prioritize the needs of the business and the people who power it Because at the end of the day? You can't make good decisions as a leader if you don't have that deep understanding of the work and the people who do it. Empathy is your competitive advantage. It's the key to a winning culture.

Leadership Before Christmas: A Time for Connection & Gratitude 🎄 As the festive season approaches and Christmas trees are core part of the office, it’s not just about winding down; it’s about showing up as a leader with purpose. This is something I was always keen on when my career progressed. Here are few things I personally do before the year ends: ✨ Reflect and Celebrate Success Your team is important, take time to review the year with your team. Highlight the wins, big and small. We have done it as a team spirit is important! 💡 Listen and Learn Think retrospective, ask your team what went well, what could improve and actions for next year. It’s a great time to reflect and gather insights that can shape a stronger year ahead. Again, together we are strong as a team! 💌 Express Gratitude Say thank you. What was accomplished is a team delivery not an individual. Thank team members for individual contributions. It’s not just about the work—it’s about the people behind it, it is the team! 🤝 Beyond your team - Wider team! Go a step further and speak to other teams, organise cross-team activities or virtual catch-ups that are focused on building relationships. We are stronger together as an organisation if we foster the right wider team spirit! 🌟 Set a Positive Tone for next year Share your vision and thoughts for the coming year, listen and listen and listen again. Inspire your team with clarity and confidence about the journey ahead. As leaders, the best gift we can give is to ensure our teams feel seen, heard, and valued. Let’s finish the year strong and start the new one even stronger! 💪 What are some of the things you do to inspire your team and set the tone for the next year? I’d love to hear your ideas! 💬 #Leadership #Gratitude #Teamwork #ChristmasReady #data #AI

🚀Reflecting on a Journey of Growth and Transformation 🚀 Six years ago, I took a leap of faith and moved to New York, carrying a vision for YOOBIC that many dreamed of but few believed could be realized at such a scale. Today, as I look back, the reality has surpassed even my own ambitious expectations. This morning’s Retail Breakfast Club in NYC not only marked another milestone in our journey but also reminded me of the power of collaboration and vision in transforming the retail industry. A heartfelt thank you 🙏 to the retail operations, HR, and communications leaders who joined us. Your engagement and insights continue to fuel our mission. Special thanks to Suzanne Laurence, Cindy Sura, and Kelly MacDonell from SPARC Group LLC for sharing their transformative journey in employee experience with us. Today's discussions underscored key insights: 1) The alignment of processes, communications, and resources across SPARC’s seven brands has not just enhanced consistency but has radically improved operational efficiency across store teams. 🏪 2) Our communities have blossomed into vibrant hubs of collaboration, where knowledge is shared freely and successes celebrated loudly, enhancing our collective strength. 🤝 3) The iterative process of identifying field champions, constantly gathering feedback, and refining our approaches is central to our success. 📈 Kudos to Erin Valade, our Senior Customer Success Manager, for leading these insightful conversations, and Jenna Goldstein, Head of US Sales, for setting the stage for a day of meaningful dialogue. I was honored to close out the session filled with excitement for the future. If you missed this event, keep an eye out for future gatherings in your area. We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come! ✨ #RetailInnovation #EmployeeExperience #Leadership #YOOBIC #VisionaryLeadership #workplacefrommeta

Exciting insights from the 2024 QSR Evolution Conference! 🚀 Our team at Mood Media had an incredible experience exploring the latest QSR trends, attending keynotes from industry thought leaders, and discovering innovative solutions to share with our partners. We were especially proud to see our own Jaime Bettencourt take part in the Women's Leadership Conference, adding her voice to important discussions. Here are Jaime’s top takeaways from the roundtable and other keynotes at #QSREvolution: 💡 Empowering Employees: The foundation of any great business is its people. Brands are doubling down on talent development through open communication, daily engagement, and fostering a culture of growth. Examples of promoting from within and nurturing human connections were a key focus. 💡 Brand Love: Apathy is the true enemy of brand success. Leading brands are intentional about defining their culture and ensuring it resonates across all levels. The goal? Create an environment that drives employee participation and builds customer loyalty. 💡 Tech Evolution: From digital menus to AI-driven solutions, technology is reducing operational chaos and enhancing customer experiences. One recurring request? Integrating menu options into the POS in real time — emphasizing its critical importance in streamlining operations. Speed of service is directly tied to revenue, and those lagging in tech adoption risk falling behind. 💡 Building Community: Social impact was front and center. Brands are creating meaningful change by hiring hearing-impaired workers in India, providing school meals in South Africa, and promoting diversity in leadership. Global initiatives are driving local impact. A huge thank you to everyone who made #QSREvolution such a success! 🎉

In a world full of shortcuts, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 means choosing what’s right—even when it’s harder. True success isn’t about doing what’s convenient; it’s about standing by your values, no matter the cost. 💡 Take Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, who faced immense pressure to continue profiting from popular snacks and drinks like 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝘀𝗶, 𝗟𝗮𝘆’𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘄. Instead, she chose to shift towards healthier options that appealed to health-conscious consumers. 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝘀, 𝗞𝘂𝗿𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗡𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘇 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵, products aimed at providing healthier beverage choices. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵—shareholders were hesitant, and short-term profits took a hit—but Indra’s focus on integrity and sustainability built long-term trust and growth. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳? 1. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁: Consistently ethical decisions build trust with customers and stakeholders. 2. 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Values-driven choices lead to lasting growth. 3. 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆: Your integrity shapes your leadership and how you’ll be remembered. Choosing 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 over 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is tough, but it leads to 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 in the long run. 🌱 #Integrity #Leadership #IndraNooyi #PepsiCo #EthicalLeadership #Trust #Success

Many organizations struggle to find an identity as they cultivate product- or technology-led cultures. As generative AI continues to take the world by storm, this wave of historical innovation will only add more nuance to these working environments. But Remya Narayanaswami, Senior Director of Loyalty at Chewy, takes a different approach. She believes product and tech strategies should instead be developed after establishing a customer-first culture. And it's no secret that Chewy has built a foundation of brand loyalty that consistently brings consumers back- myself included. To hear more of Remya's insights, listen to the full episode of Evolving Industry by clicking the links in the comments below. #brandloyalty #customerfirst #leadership #customerloyalty
