Learning to Let Go of Things I Can’t Control, I’ve always felt this need to keep everything under control—work, relationships, even the small details in my day. But, to be honest, no matter how hard I try, I’m learning that some things are just beyond my control. And while I know I *should* let go, it’s still something I’m working on every day. I still find myself getting affected by things I can’t change, and it’s not easy to just "let it go." But I’m slowly realizing that holding onto everything only adds stress, and sometimes, all I can do is focus on what’s right in front of me. I’m far from mastering this, but I’m taking it one day at a time, trying to remind myself that some things will work out as they’re meant to, even if I’m not in control. If you’re on the same path, know you’re not alone—letting go is a process, and it’s okay if we’re still figuring it out. #LearningToLetGo #WorkInProgress #FocusOnToday #30DaysWritingChallenge

Friday, beautiful view yesterday morning, just reflected about the week… A week full of challenges, ups and downs. Professionally and privately. During the week and especially downs I sometimes thought, what the heck why is that happening to me? What helped me a lot were my daily routines and especially at night when I was ready to jump into bed, asking myself the following questions: 1) what were my ❤️ moments during the day? 2) what am I grateful for? 3) what did I learn? Our head rather tends towards asking ourselves what did I miss during the day or which goals did I not achieve etc Hence, the day ends on a rather positive learning note. What practices and tools are you using that you could share? #reflections #learnings #gratitude #moments #growth

The hardest part is often the beginning. 3 powerful methods to get started (right now): There are many reasons to never even start. To not do something you've never done before. In these moments, listen to yourself. Are you talking yourself out of doing something amazing? Many people told me I was nothing Many people told me not to dream big But when you learn to get started, things change. When you start small, you can gain momentum. When you keep up, you'll be proud of your achievements. Sometimes its simply worth it to take a risk. Here are 3 methods that help me to get started new things: 1️⃣ Eat The Frog ↳ Prioritize your hardest task. ↳ Do it first thing in the morning when your energy is good. 2️⃣ 90/90/1 Rule ↳ Timebox 90 mins per day for the next 90 days. - During this time, pursue your number 1 goal. 3️⃣ The 2 day streak - Seinfeld Technique ↳ Celebrate and mark each day that you learned what you want to learn. ↳ After 2 days in a row, try to not break your streak. ☝️ "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." - Zig Ziglar What do you do to get started? ___ 🤝 Learning happens better together. Lets learn together let's help each other and achieve our goals I'm rooting for you You can do it #learningtogether #learningisfun #selfgoals

THINGS WE DO TO GET TO WHERE WE DESIRE This week has brought some unexpected wins and lessons. As a 9-5 professional juggling other interests including taking a tasking 4-month course to up-skill, this week has got to be my toughest so yet. Whew! My perseverance level was maximally tested!🤗 It’s been a really busy week at work and for the first time since I began my up-skilling course, I doubted if I would be able to meet up my online evening classes. So I actually considered deferring the remaking part course till some other time. But then I remembered that God never gives us more than we can bear or carry. The fact that I have all these on my plate means God HAS EQUIPPED ME TO HANDLE THEM ALL.😇 Besides, I’ve never been a quitter. Even when I thought of deferring the course it didn’t sound like my own voice, sounded somewhat alien.😂 I’ve always seen things through to the end always had the pleasure of admiring the excellent outcome. Like, I DID THIS!✊ This week’s WIN was a lesson that perseverance and consistency begins with the MIND. If you BELIEVE you can do it, then you WILL irrespective of obstacles. Your mind is the STARTING POINT. ✊ #highlight #lessons #perseverance #tgif #thoughtleader #evolving #growth #tech #coach #linkedingrowth #linkedin #20daylinkedinchallengewithhaoma

Feeling less motivated today. Here is a simple trick I do if I’m not feeling motivated. We all get in that space of not feeling like doing something A project Excercise Writing Saving money Some of those things can be really overwhelming. So take two minutes to work on that project, do a few pushups, write a few sentences. The magic of doing it for two minutes is you’ll find that two minutes expands to 4, then to 10 and so on. Sometimes motivation is doing something so small and easy you can’t help but do it.

New year, same old you… but with better learning habits 🧠 It’s all about rewiring your routine to make it feel easy and less like a drag. We spoke with our partners and members and these were some of the most common tips they shared for their ongoing success: 1. Start small and consistent. Carve out the same 5 minutes to complete your challenge of the day. We prefer the morning—before our brain gets full of everything else. 2. Set little milestones. Breaking up your goals into weekly chunks so you can feel the buzz of achievement more often and stay motivated. 3. Count on a buddy. Pair up with a friend or colleague who’s also learning. Share your progress, exchange tips, and cheer each other on. 4. Celebrate every win. We’re not saying throw a party, but treat yourself to a nice coffee or a fun break when you’ve stuck to your routine. Sharing it with your online community can also be very motivating. Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and—most importantly—enjoying the process. #MicroLearning #ProfessionalGrowth #AlwaysBeLearning

Anyone can get better at anything No matter how you want to improve, you need to ask yourself two questions first: 1) Do you really want to do better? 2) Are you willing to feel the discomfort of trying new things that won’t work right away? You need to honestly answer “yes” to both of these questions in order to grow. Learning anything new is, by its nature, uncomfortable. So be prepared to try things that won’t work the first time, and to feel awkward and novice and messy. If you remain committed through all of that, you’ll get better. ~HBR #BeingBetter #JoinaSacco
