Do these 5 things to make your podcast guest appearance memorable. - Be specific - know what you’re going to say and why that is valuable, cutting out the fluff - Speak to the listener about what they should take from what you say - Quantify things where possible: ‘a few things’ → ‘3 steps’ - Find out if there are any ‘fan favorite’ topics to integrate where possible - Use frameworks, acronyms, and quotes where possible And most importantly have fun.

🤔 We get this question a lot: 'How can I track my podcast's ad?' And the answer is actually very simple - pixel tracking! 💡 Here's what we mean by pixel tracking: You can track conversion to your podcast through a pixel in your ad campaign which is then connected to a prefix on your RSS feed. This happens by the system checking for listener IPs and the IPs of those who have interacted with your podcast/product – and then matching them up. “1000 small gains lead to one great thing” Paraphrasing a little, but Steven Bartlett had one of my favorite quotes at the Podcast Movement keynote. Often pressure leads us to be perfect and look for the shiny object when we are ignoring the small daily wins that will get you to the “great thing.” I myself have been dissatisfied when a video doesn’t blow up right away or podcast doesn’t take off. It’s exhausting! As Steven mentioned, it’s like the iceberg picture that gets passed around- the top is what we see but underwater is a larger mass. There’s so much more to acknowledge rather than covet instant success. The tests we run on our shows, the additional downloads we get, the mentions we receive in newsletters or on lists are all small wins. The 1% gains will add up to 100%- you just have to be patient enough to get there.
