Acronym on G.O.L.F. x 2, a duality approach. Golf is more than just a sport; it's a unique blend of physical skill, mental acuity, and a deep connection with nature. The serene landscapes, often meticulously designed, provide a tranquil backdrop that enhances the enjoyment of the game. Walking the fairways, surrounded by lush greenery and the gentle sounds of nature, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the greatest joys of golf is the personal challenge it presents. Each round is an opportunity to improve, with every swing requiring precision and strategy. The satisfaction of a well-executed shot or a challenging putt sunk into the cup is immensely rewarding. This constant pursuit of excellence keeps players coming back, striving to better their game and overcome the course's obstacles. Golf also fosters camaraderie and social interaction. Whether playing a competitive round with friends or participating in a casual tournament, the shared experiences on the golf course create lasting memories and strong bonds. The sport's etiquette and respect for fellow players further enhance these connections, making golf not only a game but a way to build and nurture relationships. https://lnkd.in/d-S4YSei

GOLF TIP TUESDAY When you use alignment sticks (or clubs laid on the ground) properly when you practice, you can be assured your ball position will be consistent from swing to swing. ⛳Too far back in your stance, you will push or slice the ball to the right. ⛳Too far forward and you will hit a pull-hook. ⛳Always set up your 'Practice Station' before you start each session. Are you using this tool to perfect your ball position? #golflessons #golftiptuesday #pga #golf #billymartingolf

How does my arena surface affect the soundness of my horse? 🤔 When measuring the impact of a surface on the horse's footfall, we look at three separate movements within a stride - the landing, loading, and push-off. 🚀 An ideal surface supports the horse's limbs throughout all of these phases! Providing a mixture of firmness, cushioning, and rebound to accomplish shock-absorbency for the landing, support during the loading, and a return of energy for the push-off. Frequently levelling your arena is vital for supporting these phases, providing an even, supportive surface with every stride. 🐎 https://lnkd.in/e8R2bCa3 #arenamaintenance #menage #arenasurface #levelling #levellingequipment #arenamate

A couple more obstacles added to the course. - The Idol of Desire. Pick up the idol and receive many points! Two turrets protect it and they can force you to have to start at the beginning if they hit you three times. - Thread the Needle. Climb into the cannon and launch yourself to the next platform, get through the gap and you'll get more points! Once the sprint system is in place, the turret section will be a little fairer, but it is meant to be hard. The cannon sequence will change to move the player to the front of the cannon and then launch them and the gap will be harder to fit through. Then it is the final gauntlet which brings everything together and some new surprises. After that, swimming is needed and ladders to get back to where you were. And after that, the points system, UI, damage ect will all be done and a quick pass to make things look prettier but this is meant to be a prototype.

Useful tips as always…📌
I help swimming coaches build race-winning skills in a systematic manner. Follow for posts about how to develop the most important skills as quickly and easily as possible.
When resistance is added, a lot of swimmers go crazy with the stroke rate to overcome the resistance and create speed. They just get inefficient. Put a low stroke rate on them and make them learn to hold a ton of water to move forward. If swimmers can’t create a lot of propulsion at slow stroke rates, they’re not going to be able to do it at fast rates. So with resistance work, starting with more controlled rates can set the stage for the fast stuff later. Let them get used to moving a TON of water. Then speed it up.
