Read your contract, know what triggers what, and establish your claim before talking numbers—unless you’re looking for a direct trip to the recycle bin. Hypothetical claims with no proof of actual costs incurred, lacking genuine justification, and unreasonable arguments crumble under even a basic sense check and fall apart under scrutiny. What’s worse is when vendors follow up with settlement proposals, missing the point entirely! Get the basics right! Focus on merit first. Little insight into the current 140x140 upscale branch, this is the sort of quality difference you should see across all non-140x140 items. For detail, I tweak the canvas to be 140x140, 2x scale the Diffuse Map, do what I call "a polish" on it to get it looking good, then upgrade the Normal Map by hand. This is about the range most of the players will witness this spot light sprite, so you can see it's about right-on-the-money DPI-wise.
