I love working alongside physicians to enrich the experience across healthcare. For me, it’s a special pleasure to be engaged in the thought leadership that drives change in the healthcare space, and there are lessons for all organizations in this work. I had the opportunity to sit down with Michael Sacopulos to give an in-depth interview focused on what healthcare can learn from hospitality about innovating in leadership and the patient experience. This year, we have completed a number of consulting projects in this space - predominantly focused on physician leadership & development with a special focus on how this can impact, not only physicians themselves, but the rich healthcare ecosystem and the patient experience at large. There is no industry out there that isn’t facing significant pressure to change, innovate, and think differently - and it’s a delight to see more and more organizations embracing new ideas!
