All right! I left the Animation space for a while to revisit the Hospitality industry and I must say, I lot of things have not changed businesswise. Business owners in the hospitality industry need to do a whole lot better in running their businesses right. Since I have entered this industry in 2019, hardly will you see bussiness owners who don't jeopardise the survival of their bussinesses. They want to live the lifestyle of a succesful restauranteur and hotel owner. Spending hard, driving flashy cars, balling hard, all at the expense of their hosptality business. Some get consultants to help evaluate and expand their businesses, but they ignore the advice given to them by consultants since it might mean spending more on the company and less on themselves, or because they spotted someone in their close social circle who is not being honest with their positions in the business thereby following emotions than reason. Truth is, majority of these enterprises are nonexistent today. I could list a handful, but it will have to wait until another day as I have some trainees on Google Meet who are awaiting my inventory and store management hospitality class. #hospitality #Hotelsandrestaurants #hospitalityconsultaion

Did you know... We are creators... We believe deeply in helping hoteliers think differently about their existing operations But we also love developing new brands that your guests will love. Here are our top five tips when developing a new concept (And the skills we can bring to your project) 1/ Do Your Research Know your local market, who are the people you will be competing against and what are they doing well? Ask yourself what is the gap in the market or how can you offer something different.§ 2/ Narrate Your Story Before anything else, develop your story and DNA and make this the backbone of everything you do. 3/ Push The Boundaries Once you have the first iteration, challenge everything you have done, it's better to reign yourself in than leave opportunity on the table. 4/ Don't Create Roadblocks This is one of the silent killers of great brands, create a framework but allow your team to be creative and do their thing. Process over the guest never ends well. 5/ Be Operationally Sound When you create your brand, make sure you can execute it and execute it long term. This means your workflows, your details and your training is engineered around long term success. If you are about to embark on a new project, reach out, book a call, share more and let's bring your vision to life. 💡 For other insights into how we work, visit the case studies on our website through the link in the comments. #innovation #thinkdifferently2024 #hospitality #hotels

Let's face it, sometimes our daily tasks can feel like tiny puzzle pieces. It's easy to get focused on just our corner of the picture. But what if we could all step back and see the incredible masterpiece we're creating together? That's why it’s important to take some time to paint a clear picture of the hotel's brand identity and future goals. Imagine the kind of experience you want to create for every guest, the feeling you want them to leave with. Now, let's think about how each of our roles plays a part in making that happen. Your work, no matter what department you're in, is a vital piece of the puzzle. By understanding the bigger picture, we can all be inspired to contribute our best work and see how it contributes to our overall success. It's going to be amazing! #hotelleadership #visionaryleadership #hospitality

Guest testimonial.... In any business that deals directly with customers, guest testimonials are one of the first things potential clients seek out before making a decision. These reviews offer an authentic glimpse into the experiences of others, helping new guests feel more confident about their choices. Positive testimonials build trust and a sense of anticipation, encouraging guests to look forward to a memorable stay or service. A glowing review can often be the deciding factor that turns curiosity into a booking. #GuestReview #HappyGuests #Testimonials

One of consulting's guilty pleasures... is the probability you will experience a range of complimentary hotel breakfasts. Which is also a chance to compare experiences. On a spectrum of (too little) largely ignored after confirming your room number; to (too much) repeated approached from multiple people, asking the same questions (seemingly more to show how many tables they've engaged... rather than the quality of that interaction). It is also a bit of an analogy for most people's online/ digital experience! The thought I landed on was how much difference it makes when the experience is shaped by insights, coordination and empathic curiosity. I.e., 🎭 Questions/ actions that are rooted in respectful observation. 👂 Insights inspired by first listening, clarifying and genuinely understanding 🏏 Giving a familiar 'face'/ contact. Who orchestrates the team in the back.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 event and weddding planning 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐈 am creating memories for corporate clientele! 😀 Oh wait, that's basically the same...AN EXPERIENCE Both processes are centered around creating memorable, seamless, and personalized experiences for the people involved. Let's be real here, it's not only about the wedded couple or the client, its also about the guests 💞 Most weddings and events are memorable for BOTH the client and the people attending because everyone's needs were met, whether that be through delicious cuisine, unforgettable entertainment or even a unique learning experience or tradition. What's one thing you don't want to miss on a wedding from an experience perspective?
