Judges typically look for a few key things in award submissions. First, they want to see a clear and compelling story, something that grabs their attention and keeps them engaged. They also look for measurable impact, so include data and results that show the difference your organisation has made. Innovation is another biggie; highlight any unique or creative aspects of your work. Judges appreciate it when you demonstrate how your organisation stands out from the crowd. Additionally, alignment with the award criteria is crucial. Make sure you thoroughly understand what the judges are looking for and tailor your submission to meet those specific requirements. Judges are busy people, so clarity and simplicity go a long way. Lastly, passion and authenticity can make a big difference. Show your enthusiasm for your organisation and let your genuine commitment shine through. So, tell your story, back it up with solid evidence, keep it straightforward, and let your passion be your secret weapon! #AwardSeason2025 #AwardNominee #CelebratingSuccesses

Reflecting on Award Submission ✨ I was surprised to find out that the process of writing a submission for an award was about so much more than just recognition. It became a powerful exercise in self-reflection and professional growth. Here's what I took away from the experience: 💡 Reflecting on Growth: I was forced to pause and evaluate my professional journey over the past year, giving me clarity on my achievements and reminding me to celebrate those small wins that contribute to the bigger picture. 💬 Gathering Feedback: Reaching out to clients for testimonials and feedback was incredibly rewarding and useful for refining my approach. It's amazing what you can learn from others! 📊 Assessing Evidence-Based Practices: The process prompted me to think critically about whether I've consistently used evidence-based strategies to support organizations effectively. It also inspired me to explore new evidence-based models and frameworks to incorporate into my future projects. 📈 Measuring Impact: I took a closer look at the tangible outcomes of my projects and their impact on organizations, which reaffirmed the value of my work. 🚀 Identifying Opportunities for Improvement: Through reflection, I uncovered areas where I can enhance my practice and continue growing as a professional. The experience was more than just about winning—it was a chance to grow, learn, and prepare for even greater impact in the future. 🌟 #reflections #evidencebasedpractice #personalgrowth #award #businesspsychology #iopysch #occpsych

To the young professionals reading this, I know the year has been a mix of highs and lows even to me. You may feel like you haven’t achieved as much as you planned in through 2024, or perhaps you’re overwhelmed with how fast the year is ending. Let me remind you of something, that progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes, or would I say everytime, that progress is in the small steps you take daily. Our goals are great, but I need us to focus on our growth, it will sustain us long after those goals are achieved. Know that it's okay to pause and recalibrate. Not achieving everything on our list doesn’t mean we've failed; it simply means we human. Let's celebrate our wins, whether big or small. Recognizing our every step matters and fuels our motivation. On this year’s journey, I’m encouraged by the resilience I’ve seen in myself and others. I want to pass that same encouragement on to us. Let's keep going, no matter how tough it seems. The seeds we’re planting now will bear fruit in time. Let’s finish this year strong. By the way!!! I took a break after the National Conference of the NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF QUANTITY SURVEYORS to get enough rest both mentally and physically. The conference was a success and I am glad to give us the highlights of it THE PRO-QS #TheProQS #growthminds #quantitysurveying #youngprofessionals #mondaymotivation
