Wondering why employees aren’t interested in your benefits packages? 🤔 Here are some of the most common reasons we’ve observed: ❌ They aren’t easily accessible to all ❌ They don’t address what employees actually need or want ❌ They aren’t tailored to employees ❌ There is a lack of choice ❌ Employees were never consulted ❌ Employees aren’t aware of them ❌ They don’t feel like benefits All these reasons are connected by a common thread... … A lack of understanding and communication. 💬 An effective benefits package addresses the needs and wants of employees. If you want to get it right, make sure you listen to what they say is important to them. If you’re not sure whether employees see the value in the benefits you offer then why not ask? Make sure that you regularly measure and review your packages and communicate benefits clearly so they understand how to take advantage of them. Lastly, don’t forget to encourage employees to use their benefits.
