Here's a quick update on our exciting hologram project with Cisco! We've uncovered some fantastic use cases: Education: This innovative tool transforms lecturers into holograms, allowing students to engage with them from anywhere using mixed reality headsets. It provides a more immersive experience compared to traditional platforms like Zoom, reducing distractions from outside interference such as text or email notifications. Architecture and Engineering: The hologram technology is perfect for sharing real-time prototypes. For example, architects can present building designs as holograms, giving clients a detailed 3D view of the structure from various angles. Engineers can showcase complex machinery or systems, enabling teams to inspect and interact with components virtually. This facilitates better understanding and collaboration on design tweaks. Marketing: This tool excels in showcasing products interactively. Imagine being able to add or remove 3D designs during meetings, with the ability to enlarge, zoom, and rotate them for a detailed view of what's being developed. It's also great for showcasing fashion, allowing users to interact with clothing in a more immersive and engaging way. Having spent a decade teaching two of the most dreaded subjects in EXTC, Electronic Devices and Antenna Theory. Seeing puzzled faces and zoned-out students is very common. Here’s how I turned things around: Hands-On Experiments: Introduced mini-projects like building simple antennas. Students love getting their hands dirty and seeing theory come to life. One of their favourites is observing radiation patterns. Real-World Applications: Linked concepts to everyday tech—like how their smartphones use wave theory. Suddenly, the science behind their favourite gadgets became fascinating! Interactive Simulations: Used software to simulate wave behaviours and antenna designs. For educational institutions, this is an intense time of activity, not only in terms of the beginning of the academic year, but most importantly in terms of rector elections, changes in university staff, organizational changes, or those concerning the equipment and standard of halls. ✋ We understand these issues perfectly. Over a decade of operation as #AV system designers and integrators, we have helped dozens of universities implement modern audio-visual solutions, as well as adapt classrooms and lecture halls to hybrid teaching mode. 🔉 With A+V Systemy Audiowizualne, comprehensive equipping universities with video conferencing systems, touch screens or displays with remote student view, becomes simple. 👉 A project we are particularly proud of this year is modernisation of #AV systems in the National Academy of Applied Sciences (NAAS) in Wloclawek. 💪 NAAS has been participating in international exchanges of students, teaching and administrative staff under the Erasmus program for almost 20 years. The main purpose of the project was to modernize projection and communication systems in auditoriums to create modern lecture halls to enable teaching in line with the university's mission.
