Hot on the heels of our new starter Steve Salf, we now have the pleasure of introducing you to Karla Swain who joined us recently, taking up a newly created role for Apex Auctions as our Sales Support Executive. Karla is a native Australian and has been living in the UK for over 30 years, most of it in Brighton. Despite career breaks bringing up her children, Karla has a diverse background including hospitality, travel, law, construction and recruitment before finding a home at Apex. Karla has embraced the warm welcome (her words) that she has received and thinks it is an exciting place to be and is really looking forward to working with a successful and growing business. Outside of work Karla loves to read, travel to new places and enjoy a glass or 2 of oaky chardonnay.   Fun fact: Having travelled to and from Australia many times over the past 30 odd years, the best flight that she has ever taken was when she flew by Concorde to New York, where she shared a flight with Joan Collins.    #newstarter #expansion #growth #joancollins
