Introducing the Spirit Animals Of Motley, a fun game brought to us by Ankita Joshi from Keep It Hygge. Each of us stepped aside while the team picked an animal representing our best qualities. Here are 3 good things about this activity that contributed to #HappinessAtMotley this month: 1. Positive Focus: It encouraged focusing on the positive qualities of each team member. Highlighting strengths boosts self-confidence and creates a more appreciative work environment. 2. Team Bonding: The act of collaboratively choosing a spirit animal for each person involved a lot of discussion and shared observations. This helps colleagues learn more about each other and build stronger bonds. 3. Fun and Playful: The lighthearted nature of the activity injected some fun into the workday. Laughter and a sense of play are for sure a powerful stress relievers and contributes to a more positive work atmosphere. Try it with your team and tag us. Stay tuned for more fun activities! #SpiritAnimals #Motley #MoteyCrew #TeamActivity #Celebration #Party

P. BRIJLALL After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file. THIS ORGANIZATION SHOULD OF NOT EXIST IN CANADA THIS IS CANADA; WHAT A SHAME Doug Ford <Premier.Correspondence@ontario.ca> Thank you for reaching out with details about your experience with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Since 1974, CHEO has been a pillar of the Ottawa community. Their team has grown remarkably since then, providing education and research and supporting more than 500,000 patients each year. Last week, I had the chance to celebrate these 50 years of service and thank the incredible staff for all their work.

The Circus Elephant I saw a video on social media the other day of an elephant being born. What a spectacular sight! Seeing this reminded me of a lesson that was taught to me several years ago. It goes something like this: The circus travels all over the place, so animal security is an understandable topic to address. The way they do this with baby elephants is then the circus gets to a new town, they secure the young elephant by driving a giant spike into the ground, then attaching one end of a heavy chain to the spike and the other end firmly around the leg of the elephant. No matter how much the young elephant tries, he is unable to break free. As a result, he learns to not try. It is said that an elephant never forgets. So when we fast forward a few years, we can find the same elephant traveling with the circus to yet another town. This time, however, the elephant is not secured with a giant spike and chain. No. This time they use a short spike and some rope. One end of the rope is attached to the spike and the other is tied just snug enough for the elephant to know it is there. And you know what happens? Nothing. Even though the adult elephant has more than enough power to break loose, he doesn't event try. I share this story with you because it describes so many of us. We feel like we are restrained by something that happened so long ago. Allow me to remind you that you are not the same person you were a decade or even a year ago. You may not even be the same person you were a month or a week ago. You have the capacity to grow and improve all the time. Today, I want to challenge you to pull and tug against the ropes and small spikes in you life. I will encourage you to challenge some the limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. Great opportunities are out there, my friends! Today’s story is about our delivery team member Aarzoo. It's about her love for dogs, nature, and the little moments that make life beautiful. Instead of trying to fit someone’s entire life story into one post, we focus on a small glimpse into their lives. It could be a moment that simply makes us pause and reflect. Her journey, alongside her 2-year-old dog Olive, is full of photos that could inspire National Geographic and moments that pet lovers at Petco or Chewy would adore. It’s a reminder to cherish what matters most. Take a moment to meet Aarzoo. Her story might just inspire your week. 🐾🌿 What’s one thing that made you smile today? #mondaymotivation #testlions #teamculture #softwarequality

Did you know that, according to the American Heart Association, having a pet may help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and boost overall happiness and well-being? Now, it is our turn to pamper them and thank them for all the benefits they offer us, but most importantly, for the love they give us every day. Check out these adorable photos shared by our Pumas of their beloved companions, in celebration of National Pet Month! https://bit.ly/4bhPWLp

There’s nothing quite like a little motivational card to start the week ❤️ Everyone in the office knows how much I love a good quote (even if I sometimes mix them up a bit 😂) so I thought rather than putting the team through the torture of me getting them wrong every time, why not get some cards. It’s become a fun tradition with the USA team that I hand out a card at the start of each week giving us all a boost, encouraging us to pause and reflect on the week ahead. Have you started any little fun things you do with your teams, big or small, comment below 😄 #TempusRecruitment #TempusUSA #VeterinaryCareers

Musings of a small animal vet practice owner: It makes no sense to punish an entire team. If you are a leader and find yourself telling off your entire team in a meeting for not doing something the way they should, DON'T!!!! Either everyone is doing it wrong, in which case your systems or training needs improvement Or Only one of them is doing it wrong, in which case take them aside individually and work out where the deficiency is (training / motivation / skill). It's often easier (lazier!) to tell everyone off in a team meeting than to deal with the real problem. But ultimately you won't change anything apart from making your team resent you!
