📢 Research Update: Chronic Fatigue and Dysautonomia Post-COVID-19 Vaccination A study has identified distinct blood markers that set chronic fatigue and dysautonomia post-COVID-19 vaccination apart from normal vaccination responses. This research highlights elevated levels of interleukin-6 and unique receptor antibodies in affected individuals, suggesting new diagnostic and treatment pathways. This discovery is crucial for healthcare professionals and researchers focusing on post-vaccination syndromes and long COVID. Enhanced diagnostic criteria could significantly improve patient outcomes and guide future studies. 🔗 Read the full study for more insights: https://lnkd.in/dq_HrgcA #COVID19 #Healthcare #MedicalResearch #ChronicFatigueSyndrome #POTS #Vaccination #PublicHealth

Welcome August!! As we step into National Immunization Awareness Month, let's take a moment to highlight the critical role that diagnostic imaging plays in vaccine development and monitoring. Imaging technologies like ultrasound and x-ray are essential in: ➡ Developing Vaccines: Imaging helps researchers study the effects of vaccines on the body, ensuring safety and efficacy. ➡ Monitoring Responses: Diagnostic imaging tracks how the immune system responds to vaccines, providing valuable data for improving immunization strategies. ➡ Ensuring Safety: Imaging techniques are used to detect any adverse reactions early, ensuring prompt medical intervention. Join us in celebrating the advancements in medical imaging that support global health initiatives and help protect our communities. Stay tuned for more insights and updates throughout the month! #NationalImmunizationAwarenessMonth #Immunization #DiagnosticImaging #Healthcare #VaccineDevelopment #USCUltrasound #Ultrasound #XRay #MedicalTechnology #HealthcareProfessionals #Health

August is National Immunization Awareness Month 🔬! At Medable, we're proud to support the vital work of vaccine research and development. Immunizations are crucial in safeguarding public health, and the journey to effective therapies starts with rigorous clinical trials. eCOA (electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) technology plays a critical role in these studies by streamlining data collection, enhancing patient engagement, and ensuring accurate, real-time reporting. This means faster, more reliable results—helping to bring life-saving vaccines to communities around the world more efficiently. If you're interested in learning more about the power of eCOAs, download our latest case study here: https://lnkd.in/eUpehDuu Together, we can advance science and protect human health. 💉🌍 ________ #ImmunizationAwarenessMonth #ClinicalTrials #Vaccines #eCOA #DigitalHealth

The expanded program of #Immunization has made the single greatest contribution to improved infant survival over the past 50 years. According to The Lancet, substantial gains in childhood survival have occurred in every global region since 1974, and the EPI has been the driving force behind these improvements. Equitable universal access to immunization remains crucial to sustain health gains and continue to save future lives from preventable infectious mortality. Let's continue to prioritize and support immunization efforts for a healthier future. #publichealth #healthcare #childhealth https://lnkd.in/dTqi4wCH

Today, on the last day of World Immunization Week, we're taking a look at Enterovirus D68. While EV-D68 often appears as a mild or severe respiratory illness, it can in some cases result in the far more dangerous acute flaccid myelitis. When the nervous system gets affected, muscles and reflexes weaken which might ultimately lead to respiratory failure, or other severe neurologic complications. The last decade AFM cases, especially in young children, have been on the rise. A vaccine is therefore urgently needed. At Intravacc we are leveraging our well-established Vero cell platform (Cell-vacc) to develop an inactivated EV-D68 vaccine candidate called Avacc 5. Discover all there is to know about Avacc 5 by reading our Vaccsheet here: https://lnkd.in/e7NeaxF5 Learn more about World Immunization Week here: https://lnkd.in/eUcmPWPH #Worldimmunizationweek #WHO #Intravacc #Bilthoven #CDMO #Vaccines #Cell_vacc #Cell_based #AFM

Social Cohesion and Vaccination Intentions in the Post-Pandemic Era New research explores how perceived neighborhood social cohesion influences individuals’ intentions to get vaccinated post-pandemic. The findings reveal that stronger feelings of community trust and connection are associated with higher vaccination intent, highlighting the role of social environments in shaping health behaviors. As communities continue to navigate the post-COVID landscape, these insights offer valuable implications for public health strategies aimed at increasing vaccine uptake through social support and trust-building initiatives. #PublicHealth #SocialCohesion #Vaccination

What is the best way to prevent the spread of conflicting and misleading information about vaccines online? Murdoch Children's Research Institute's (MCRI) Centre for Health Analytics is examining how AI-based social media ‘bots’ can influence public opinion on vaccination and how to effectively target the most widespread misinformation. The team, represented by Dr Muhammad Javed and Gerardo Luis Dimaguila FAIDH, recently received a GSK Immunisation Award at the Communicable Disease & Immunisation Conference. The award prize will help them to further their research by recruiting a panel of experts and fact-checkers to build on their existing model.
