Did you know palm oil is the most productive vegetable oil per hectare? 🌱 With an impressive average of 3.8 tons of crude palm oil per hectare annually, it outperforms alternatives like soybean and sunflower, which yield just 1 ton per hectare. This remarkable efficiency enables industries to maximize output using significantly less land, making palm oil the most resource-efficient option for meeting global demand. But productivity is only part of the story. We are committed to the sustainable production of palm oil, ensuring that while we boost economic growth, we also uphold the highest standards of environmental responsibility. Through responsible sourcing practices and adherence to NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation) policies, we are working to balance industry needs with the preservation of ecosystems and local communities. When you choose sustainable palm oil, you support a high-yield crop and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. 🌍🌿 #PalmOil #SustainableAgriculture #EfficientCrops #VegetableOils #SustainableFarming #OilPalm #GreenEconomy #EnvironmentalResponsibility #PalmOilFacts #SustainableGrowth

The fact is, replacing palm oil with other vegetable oils like sunflower, soybean, or rapeseed would likely create greater environmental problems. Oil palms provide 35% of the world’s vegetable oil using just 10% of the land allocated to oil crops, whereas other crops require up to nine times more land to produce the same amount. Opting for sustainable palm oil means we’re using land efficiently and supporting a more sustainable future. What if your vegetable oil source could offer more stability and a smaller environmental footprint? American palm oil (Ampo) can produce up to 10 times more oil per acre compared to seed oils like soy and canola. Ampo’s continuous harvesting schedule ensures year-round production, making it a more reliable oil source for companies. As the global demand for vegetable oils continues to grow, American palm oil is setting a new standard in sustainability and functionality. With enhanced stability, a longer fry life and a smaller environmental footprint, @daabon’s Ampo is perfect for companies looking to replace less stable seed oils without sacrificing performance. https://lnkd.in/gt_hGcPg #Paid #Sustainability #PalmOil #AmericanPalmOil #VegetableOils #SustainableAgriculture #FunctionalFoods #GreenBusiness

🌍 Why Oil Palm Matters for a Sustainable Future 🌍 The oil palm industry plays a big role in the economy and daily life, but it also faces challenges related to sustainability and the environment. Here’s why it’s important—and how it’s evolving: 🔹 Economic Impact: Oil palm supports millions of small farmers and is a major source of jobs in many tropical countries. 🔹 Sustainable Practices: New approaches, like zero-deforestation policies and better farming techniques, are helping make oil palm production more eco-friendly. 🔹 Efficient Crop:Oil palm produces more oil per acre than other crops, meaning it uses less land overall when managed well. With the right practices, we can balance economic benefits with environmental protection, making oil palm part of a sustainable future. 🌱 #SustainablePalmOil #Agriculture #EcoFriendly #Sustainability #Innovation

What comes to mind when you hear #PalmOil? Most likely it's a barrage of negative connotations: deforestation, fires, and exploitative labour practices. Less often it’s the yield efficiency of this crop, producing more than x3 tonnes per hectare than other crops used for oils. With land scarcity fast becoming a critical issue, great efforts from industry leaders and researchers are going into counteracting the adverse effects of the industry and reshaping this narrative, to take advantage of palm oil benefits as we transition to a #sustainable economy. The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a key player. Over 17 million metric tons of palm oil are RSPO-certified today, accounting for roughly 8% of the global vegetable oil supply (WWF). However, palm oil’s reputation has been slow to recover. Sharing similarities with the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) - pivotal to a sustainable future but embroiled in #greenwashing scandals that have soured its reputation - rebuilding trust in certifiers requires a cross-industry international effort. The question remains: will it happen quickly enough? At Ampersand, we specialize in decarbonization, delving beyond reputations to comprehend the nuances of a sustainable future. Let's shift the narrative together! 🌍🌱

This World Environment Day, we discuss the importance of sustainable palm oil and its impact on the environment. Palm oil is a significant player in the vegetable oil industry. Its efficiency is undeniable, requiring less land compared to other options. While palm oil offers a high yield (40% of global vegetable oil needs) from a minimal land footprint (only 6% of oilseed crop land), concerns about deforestation due to unsustainable practices exist at a global level. However, India demonstrates a promising approach. By cultivating palm oil on designated agricultural land, deforestation risks are minimized. Our sustainable practices offer a path forward, ensuring palm oil contributes to a better future, not hinders it. Happy World Environment Day! #SustainablePalmOil #EnvironmentDay

On this International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable practices that make every seed, grain, and crop count. At TGI Group, we maximize the value of all our inputs to reduce waste and ensure that no by-product is left behind. By transforming soya beans beyond premium Golden Terra Oil production, we create valuable by-products like soya bean cake for animal feed and soya lecithin for seasonings. Our sustainability efforts also extend to rice processing, where we convert Big Bull Rice husks into renewable energy that powers our facilities. These are just a few examples across our businesses. One of our objectives is to shape a future where zero waste isn’t just a goal—it’s the standard. #SustainableAgriculture #FoodWasteAwareness #theTGIway #IDAFLW

Rice straw, also known as paddy straw, presents a significant challenge due to the large amounts left after rice harvesting, which can occur 2-4 times a year. This results in an abundance of rice straw that needs to be managed, as otherwise it is just burned in the fields. While loose straw can be difficult to transport, converting it into briquettes offers a practical solution. Briquettes are easy to handle and simplify logistics, making them a convenient and efficient option for managing rice straws. https://lnkd.in/dyJZNrab
The burning of rice straw in fields after harvest is a significant issue in many Asian and African countries. This practice not only wastes valuable resources but also contributes to major air pollution, especially in terms of CO2 emissions that harm the environment. 🌾🔥 Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem - producing rice straw briquettes. Biomasser® briquetting presses are compact and can be easily set up in dispersed locations. Operating these machines is simple and does not require special qualifications, making it accessible to most farmers. The compact rice straw briquettes serve as a biofuel that can be easily transported and utilized for energy production. This helps reduce the amount of organic waste burned and contributes to the protection of the environment. 🌿 It's time to take action! 💪 #RiceStraw #PaddyStraw #Biofuel #RiceStrawBriquettes #Bioenergy #BiomassEnergy #EnvironmentalProtection #CleanEnergy #RenewableResources #Biomasser #BiomasserBriquettes #StrawBriquettes #SustainableEnergy
