Every attendee brings a unique journey—one filled with challenges, triumphs, and invaluable experiences. 🔎 Reflections from the Cozy Community Meeting in Haifa. Looking forward for upcoming 2025! Yesterday’s community meeting in my hometown Haifa was an absolute pleasure! ♥️ A warm welcome to my new connections, Irma Shlosberg, Vova Soroka, Julia Val, Vitaly Eskov, Eugene Mednikov, Nikolai Romanenko —I’m excited to continue our conversations and share ideas as we gear up for 2025. Israel is going to be one of our focus markets in the coming year. With its vibrant and advanced tech sector, I believe our approach to supporting employees in the contemporary workplace will resonate here just as it does in the Nordics. 💡 I'd like to share some tips on our AlbiCoins approach: 💡 ---> [Motivating Beyond Tasks]: Employees thrive when we reward not only achievements but also mentoring, learning, and collaboration. --->[Fostering Innovation]: True innovation happens in engaged communities where every voice is heard and recognized. --->[Building Strong Networks]: Peer-to-peer connections within companies are the backbone of performance growth. --->[Sustainability in Culture]: In uncertain times, a sustainable and supportive corporate culture is key to navigating challenges. Our teams and networks are the foundation that will carry us through the unpredictable times ahead and beyond. 👐 Let’s keep building together in 2025! 🌍 #CommunityConnections #SustainabilityAtWork #Innovation2025 #EmployeeMotivation #EmployeeEngagement #CorporateCulture #HaifaTech

Celebrate Freedom Day and Foster Team Building! As South Africa commemorates Freedom Day, it's an opportune moment to reflect not only on the historic struggles and triumphs of our nation but also on the principles that unite us and drive us forward. In the spirit of unity and progress, let's explore how fostering team building within organisations echoes the ethos of Freedom Day. Team building isn't just about trust falls and icebreakers; it's about forging strong bonds, promoting collaboration, and achieving common goals. Much like the diverse tapestry of South Africa coming together for a common cause, effective teams leverage the unique strengths and perspectives of each member to overcome challenges and achieve success. Here's how you can infuse the spirit of Freedom Day into your team-building efforts: 1. Embrace Diversity: Just as South Africa celebrates its diversity, embrace the diversity within your team. Encourage open dialogue, celebrate different backgrounds and perspectives, and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. 2. Foster Collaboration: Freedom Day reminds us of the power of collective action. Encourage collaboration among team members by providing opportunities for them to work together, share ideas, and leverage each other's strengths to achieve shared objectives. 3. Empower Individuals: Just as South Africa empowers its citizens to contribute to the nation's progress, empower individuals within your team to take ownership of their roles and make meaningful contributions. Recognise and celebrate their achievements, fostering a sense of pride and accountability. 4. Encourage Innovation: Freedom Day symbolises the freedom to imagine and innovate. Encourage a culture of innovation within your team by providing space for creativity, experimentation, and risk-taking. Celebrate bold ideas and learn from both successes and failures. 5. Celebrate Achievements: Freedom Day is a time to celebrate milestones and progress. Similarly, celebrate the achievements of your team, both big and small. Recognise individual and collective efforts and take the time to acknowledge the impact of their hard work. By incorporating these principles into your team-building initiatives, you not only strengthen the bonds within your team but also contribute to a culture of unity, collaboration, and progress, echoing the spirit of Freedom Day. Happy Freedom Day, South Africa! 🇿🇦 Let's continue to build stronger teams and a brighter future together. Heading out to the CoreNet Global EMEA summit this week? Don't miss out on the panel discussions that have been put together by a variety of CoreNet Young Leaders! Wednesday, Sept 11th there is Getting Out of the Echo Chamber: How to Meaningfully Engage with Diverse Talent that's been put together by Young Leader Laura Pearson and CoreNet Global UK Chapter committee member and charity lead Laura Berman. 🕚 Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM 📍 Room: Charlottenburg II The real estate industry is making progress when it comes to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, but we have a long way if we want to truly represent the communities we are serving through the built environment. The key to this is bringing in diverse talent. However, many people are not given the information and opportunities to even find out about careers in real estate, let alone access the qualifications and experience needed to enter the workforce, because of the socio-economic barriers in place. Without understanding the lived experiences of people who have barriers to even getting that far, how are we going to reach the people we really need to, that will enrich both our profession and the spaces we design and deliver? We all have the power to make hiring decisions and shape the future of our industry. Each of us must, metaphorically, and empathetically, step outside of the echo chamber and learn about the lived experience of people from diverse, non-traditional, and underrepresented backgrounds. By doing this, we can truly create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. Join us for this important discussion and be part of the change! 🌍✨ #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion #RealEstate #DEI #DiverseTalent #InclusiveWorkplace

18,000 Tech Roles to Fill—Why so many motivated talents are still unemployed ? This week, we organised our first-ever event focused on supporting women who are changing careers or starting their #tech journey in a new country. Thanks to our partners IBM Sweden 20 talented women from Ukraine met female mentors to discuss difficulties and victories in building career in the global tech company. Yohaniz B. shared her touching personal journey and opening space for deep discussions. True magic! But here’s the problem I noticed: Sweden needs 18,000 new tech specialists every year until 2028 to meet demand (TechSverige). Yet many of participants, skilled and motivated professionals (in this case, women) can’t even get through the first step—screening or interviews. Despite the well-known gender gap in tech, barriers like these keep holding women back, leaving so much talent untapped. This isn’t just about numbers—it’s an opportunity to create a better, more inclusive future for tech in Sweden. By working together through partnerships, mentorship, and further developed hiring practices, we can change this, no? What do you think? How can we make sure we’re not overlooking talented candidates, especially when there’s such a need for them? Women In Tech Sweden Åsa Johansen Elin Eriksson and TechSverige Åsa Zetterberg Let’s talk about it! Thank you Evelina Pärnerud and IBM mentors for your time and dedication. ✨ Building bridges and creating opportunities ✨ On December 11, the Professional Support Center – Beredskapslyftet, in partnership with IBM, hosted a truly inspiring Networking Event for Women in Stockholm. This special gathering brought together talented Ukrainian professionals who have found themselves in Sweden due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The event was a unique opportunity to connect, share experiences, and open doors for new professional paths. We were honored to welcome 20 skilled females from Ukraine, eager to contribute their expertise to Sweden’s tech landscape. Special thanks to Evelina Pärnerud and Yohaniz B. for our partnership during 2024! A huge thank you to IBM, our incredible speakers/mentors, and all the participants who made this event unforgettable. Less than 100 spots left before we close out membership for The Authentic Asian. When I originally built The Authentic Asian I knew I wanted it to be an intimate, safe community. I never expected us to get over 230 women to join within our first year of launching. Because of that extreme demand and growth, we’ve decided to limit membership to only an additional 100 spots (some that have already filled this month) and close out membership by May 2025. If you’re thinking about joining, do so NOW before you miss your chance (and prices increase in 2025). What you get with membership: - 𝐀 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 to be your authentic self - 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 with like-minded women who share your struggles, dreams, and goals - 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 including fireside chats with Asian American women who have broken the bamboo ceiling, workshops to help you do the same, as well as carefully curated support groups and events. (See upcoming member-only events) - 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 with content tailored to your journey - 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 in our major metropolitan cities (New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County, Boston and Chicago - with more in the works) offer the chance for in-person networking and community building - 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭 pairings connect members with other members from all over the United States, Canada, and the UK. - 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 Together, we aren’t just going to break the bamboo ceiling and disrupt business limitations that we as Asian American women often face… We are going to be changing the culture of how we and others view us so that we can be seen as the unstoppable, passionate powerhouses we truly are.
