Good Fellowship - a phrase that holds immense power and depth. It speaks of rich relationships, inclusivity, and collective well-being, shaping some of my most rewarding experiences. Addressing Workforce challenges is both tough and fulfilling. The workforce is a crucial community component, with its pieces scattered. Striving for a 'win for all' fuels the transformative force of 'good fellowship' to drive bright ideas into brilliant outcomes. This concept is notable in: - Employers forging lasting relationships with diverse workforce channels through collaborative recruitment initiatives. - Education and employment programs showcasing their ability to meet workforce demands. - Transformation of recruitment event success rates from 2% to an astonishing 98%, a testament to 'good fellowship'. - Enabling intentional employment opportunities for domestic violence survivors, combatting the challenges of unemployment. - Boosting school-based traineeships in community services, enhancing employer access to a more robust youth workforce supply to meet their business needs. - Aligning small to medium businesses' workforce strategies with business goals, fostering better successes in retaining a more diverse workforce. - Improving workforce design for inclusion of non-traditional workforce to thrive. Success doesn't always mean agreement. Constructive disagreement and viewpoint diversity are key tools for seeking truth. HxA brings together different viewpoints on our advisory board for the goal of a better campus culture, including Cornel West. #AcademicFreedom #EducationReform #Cornelwest #Viewpointdiversity #Academicnews

This week is TD awareness week. 600k people are affected and most go undiagnosed. TD profoundly impacts functioning and emotional well-being. In the spirit of raising awareness, I want to share this resource with any of my colleagues who may want to learn more about the condition. Discover TD is a great opportunity to engage in a simulated patient experience, learning about TD in the process. I am a big fan of simulated learning and this resource reinforces my belief that DOING will always outperform hearing or listening to a new topic. #TDawarenessweek #tardivedyskinesia #simulatedlearning #mentalhealthawareness #discovertd

NDSU Restorative Practices Network invites you to participate in "Talking Circles" that is intended to help everyone express and reflect on their challenges, achievements, semesters and experiences within the campus. The goal is to create a more robust community where everyone feels they belong, accepted, heard, and acknowledged. Do not cover up or condone injustices. Be prepared to stand out, speak up, and never be afraid. Speaking up against injustices as a group increases awareness and puts pressure on people in authority. However, this is only one step in a complicated process that calls for structural reform, practical consistent action, and collaborative effort to fully eradicate them. Students session 4-5pm today, bring yourself, friends be ready to be vulnerable, it is okay to be emotional, bring tissues to wipe off your tears🫂 Event Details: Date: December 3, 2024 Time and Location: Faculty/Staff Talking Circle: Noon-1PM, Hidatsa Room (Memorial Union) https://lnkd.in/grbS7QQn Student Talking Circle: 4-5PM, Rose Room (Memorial Union) https://lnkd.in/gvHbSFUi #HigherEdJustice #NoMoreSilence #JusticeOnCampus #StudentsAgainstInjustice #FairHigherEd #ChangeTheSyst North Dakota State University
