Ultrasound-based Measurement of the Intra-scaphoid angle I’m happy to share our new article, hot from the press! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Please take a look! 👇 https://lnkd.in/g2S_6Uq8 In this article we described two sonographic measurements of the scaphoid alignment, important for the assessment of scaphoid fractures and their displacement: -       the inter-poles distance (IPD) -       the palmar cortical intra-scaphoid angle (PCISA) This technique is easy to perform, is cost-effective, accessible and radiation-free. We tested the correlation between the investigators and the evaluators and found: A moderate to good correlation for PCISA and good to excellent correlation for IPD between the investigators. A fair to moderate correlation for IPD and moderate to good correlation for PCISA in between evaluators. #OrthopedicResearch #UltrasoundImaging #ScaphoidFracture
