Hi, I'm Thomas and Simon, Manager at Platinum. It's about 8 1/2 years now. I've now been promoted to design manager and actually now run the design department and we've gone from just two people to a total of 8. So we've got 5 designers, myself a coordinator and we work very closely with our technical director. I come to work early to get a good start on the day. The day you can include any number of activities, meetings, drawings, documents, reviews, products, training, etcetera. Things seem to be ever changing and therefore we have to be adaptable. To be honest, I think the the role itself couldn't be better suited to me. It's got a great mix of architectural design and engineering design, so you can get the pretty along with the technical. And then we also get great variation in projects, clients, client teams who work with some of the most prestigious companies and people in the UK and it's a really fantastic opportunity to do so. My favorite project is probably Regents Crescent. It's quite hard to pick from the many projects that we've done, but that one in particular, the aesthetic, was to my personal taste. All of the finishes were done really well. Included a pool, a spa, sauna, steam room so the whole works which is really great fun to to bring it all together. And I think that the client ended U with fantastic product that we could be proud in.
