The European Union approved their #methaneregulation yesterday (May 27th). Natural gas importers into the EU will need data and third-party assurance for the value chain. The Veritas Protocols offer publicly available, standardized, transparent, technology neutral measurement of emissions approach for the entire natural gas value chain. Included is how to calculate methane emissions intensity and value chain summation, an assurance guide, and guidance documents. #methaneemissions
