One of those nights when you feel like you've got a front row seat to something big... What an incredible honor to join 🇦🇷 Argentina President Javier Milei and this group of AI leaders and luminaries for dinner. More convinced than ever that AI can play an outsized role not just in technological innovation, but also in economic development for countries who embrace the potential of this revolution. Thank you Mat Travizano and Stan Chudnovsky for the invitation! We expect huge disruption coming from AI in the CX industry, and it's been central to our product roadmap and engagement with startups and customers over the last 18 months in particular at Zendesk. As business leaders, it's not only our job to build and deploy these technologies with our customers, but we should also engage the broader ecosystem to ensure that the benefit reaches many. Let's keep pushing the frontier! #ai #cx #customerexperience #zendeskforstartups #vamosargentina

A big thank you to all the participants for their valuable insights and contributions, and a special thanks to my friend Stan Chudnovsky for co-hosting this event with me. For more to come! https://lnkd.in/g-eUCBuw US Navy SEAL, Jocko Willink provides an intense speech about how mistakes made in the fog-of-war have lessons to teach. I just finished Jocko's book, Extreme Ownership. It is an excellent book that I wished had been written years ago, and has a collection of leadership concepts that have been around for a long time. The last 4 years of my 21 in the Navy was at a command that had the worst organizational culture of any organization that I have experienced. However, a shining example of a course-change in organizational culture that occurred at an all-Pilot/all-Flight Engineer meeting. My Commanding Officer spoke to one of the (enlisted) Flight Engineers, looked him in the eye and addressed him by his name and rank and said, "... about what we were talking about the other day, you were right, I was wrong." I do not remember what it was about if it was even mentioned. What struck me, was that the senior officer in the command admitted in-front of his junior officers and a bunch of enlisted sailors that he was wrong about something, when he didn't have to. He clearly took ownership! I don't know the back-story. I don't need to know the back-story. What I remember was how it suddenly instilled trust in me. I knew at that moment, that I could trust him. He might not always be right, but trust is not dependent upon always being right and not making mistakes. Trust is about your character. Jocko drives this point home throughout his book and has cool stories to illustrate the point. My Skipper already knew the concept of ‘Extreme Ownership’. These principles were known decades ago in the principle of "Pass the credit, take the blame" (as I first heard it). Watch the video, but truly, I recommend: Read the book! (Note: This was not written by AI!)

Gamification? Virtual tourism? At a religious site? Really? Yes, that’s the focus of my research, which I’m also using as my thesis project to fulfill graduation requirements. While the concepts I’ve mentioned aren’t entirely new, the combination of these elements presents novelty and exciting to explore. The core of this research is to introduce a non-conservative approach to religious tourism, aiming to increase interest and awareness among Generation Z in this space. Although the research and the resulting product are far from perfect, this has been a life-changing journey for me. I’m excited to not only share the outcomes but also the journey behind it.
