People, work at Pillar VC! Yard Stick has nearly a dozen institutional investors and only ONE of them is not exclusively climate-focused. That's Pillar, because they are the bomb. I got fired as CFO last week. I got hired as a CTO @ Nektar. But, Mark, aren't you a CRO?? So CFO is Chief Fun Officer (if you hadn't heard). It's a special role in the Kosoglow family. I screwed up Spring Break pretty bad and my 14 y/o basically gave me the boot after he sat around bored all week. Good news → I have strong plans at the end of next week to make it up. I'm hoping for a boomerang hiring. Will keep y'all posted. I got hired as CTO* (Chief Threading Officer), though. Multi-threading has always been important, but now, it's more than important...it's absolutely necessary to win deals. Bigger buying committes. Less eagerness to spend money. The gravity of status quoa is like a blackhole. Competitors send their execs to offices in jets. So many tools, so much noise...how do you know where to invest? Ultimately, multi-threading is your answer to how to navigate the new selling environment we are in. It's more work, but it's more winning. So..... What you do NOT want to do is tons of work that doesn't help you win more. So, I'm joining Randy Likas this Thursday Aeron Nico M.
