What does it take for #digitalinclusion? CelcomDigi shares their thoughts

#Data presents both an opportunity and a risk for an organisation, especially one as big as CelcomDigi. As I approach my 6th #workanniversary, I’m (still) excited to work for a company that is committed to champion #privacy, #dataprotection, and responsible use of individual’s data.

💎DIVERSE TEAMS WIN-WIN 💎 Meet my colleague Vy! She’s originally from Vietnam and moved to Norway 4 years ago. Vy joined Telenor through our 🤍Telenor Open Mind🤍 program, which helps immigrants from non-European countries and people with disabilities get a foothold in the job market. The Open Mind program gives participants hands-on work experience and training, helping them strengthen their skills and improve their chances of landing a job. Open Mind has recruited participants from 3️⃣ 6️⃣ countries, and 7️⃣ 0️⃣ %  of them have successfully found regular jobs after the program! Vy has a master’s in economics and administration, with a focus on Marketing and Brand Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). For the past year, she’s been an amazing part of our Sustainability team. I’ve been so impressed by her passion for learning and her determination to grow. Working in such a diverse team has honestly been a game-changer. We all come from different backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the table. 💗 This variety sparks so much learning—it’s like we’re constantly pushing each other to see things from new angles. 💎  Our decision-making is more thoughtful and well-rounded, with more ideas being shared and considered. It’s not just about doing things differently; it’s about doing things better. 🦋Diversity definetly drives creativity! We ’re bound to think outside the box, and that’s where real innovation happens. It keeps things fresh, exciting, and dynamic. ⏹  The productivity of the team just feels more natural. Everyone brings their own strengths, and we complement each other so well. The team isn’t just getting things done; we’re thriving because we’re leveraging the richness of our diverse backgrounds. There are times when you go to the cinema not for the movie, but to see the results of your team’s hard work. This is sort of what happened when Eglė Aidetytė, Rasa Degutienė and I went to see Joker: Folie à Deux. “You won’t understand until you experience it” („Nesuprasi, kol nepatirsi“ in Lithuanian) is our employer awareness campaign, currently shown in major cinemas across the country during the aforementioned movie, plus digital and outdoor placements. The campaign is aimed at showing IT specialists that SEB isn’t just another bank or financial company. SEB is also a technology hub, where IT professionals create or contribute to solutions that transform not only the financial sector but also society as a whole.
