Hey everyone, Wishing you a restful pause as the year ends. I'm also coming on here to implore you to join me in embracing the courage this festive season to speak up against #genocide, media bias, and silence as violence. I'd like to think I'm leading an intersectional movement at Creatives for Climate and as a climate organisation we would be speaking up more than we have. But I've been lost for words in a professional context more than I would like to admit. The one initiative we took was to support Gaza Sunbirds led by community member Josh Akapo (see below for how to get involved and support) I would love to join forces with others to do more. Please HMU if you have ideas or ways to band together. We cannot pretend that the issue of 'climate' exists in a vacuum against other destructive and oppressive forces. Huge gratitude to Slow Factory and Celine Semaan who has showed us all what taking a stand while educating others really looks like. To Oxfam in Jerusalem and Oxfam International who have never ceased to speak up. To Leah Thomas and Intersectional Environmentalist who bravely shared their views (and anger at the hypocrisy of many) To Farhana Yamin Isabel Crabtree-Condor Ella Saltmarshe Alice Aedy Samuel Rubin Julie Mallat and others using their voice for change.
