It's national Yought day! 💬We spoke with some of our young interns! Veronica De Pretto, automotive sale dep. ♠️What position do you hold in clerprem at the moment, which division are you in? I am currently part of the automotive division sales office. I have just joined Clerprem so my role at the moment is supporting my colleagues; I'm dealing specifically with the process of issuing declarations preferential and non-preferential of goods and, also, the process of costing non compliance to supplier. ♠️What are you passionate about about your work, what led you to pursue this path? I come from an educational background that combines two worlds, business-science and linguistics. It is no coincidence that I chose a degree program in economics completely in English. Over the years I have also had the opportunity to study the German language, which I have become passionate about. My goal became precisely to find an environment that would offer me the opportunity to put my economic-mathematical knowledge and use of languages into practice. Therefore, I think the business office in a well-structured company like Clerprem is the a perfect fit. ♠️ what is your dream in the drawer? Certainly on a professional level I aim for a growth and, in particular, a position that can always inspire me and satisfaction. On a personal level I would like to have the opportunity to travel often. Discovering new places, cultures, ways of thinking is something I find very fascinating and fundamental to grow. #clerprem #young #clerprempeople

What can change in 11 years? As summer fades, the fair season is just around the corner. And as always, it’s taking me back to my very first exhibition in 2013. The difference is remarkable - not just in how our stand looks, but in how much we all have learned. Today, we know what to expect and the results a successful fair can bring. It was in Sial 2013 that I met some of the most trusted business partners that we are still working with today. But back in 2013, I attended it with a mix of excitement and worry. As an introvert, the idea of talking to so many people from around the world for five days straight felt daunting and even a little frightening. Add a language barrier, and the challenge seemed even greater. Now, 11 years and countless fairs later - whether it's Sial, Anuga, or Expo West - I’ve come to appreciate the chaos, vibrancy, and long days. Instead of dread, I now look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and building new partnerships. Sial is just over a month away, and I’m eager to see what it holds for us this year. #FairSeason #CareLabDivas #InternationalBusiness

In addition to my brand strategy course at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan this summer, I had the opportunity to work on a communication brief for CAUTO - Rete di cooperative sociali, a not-for-profit Italian company who focuses on environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Our job was to act as a consultant company where we help to analyze CAUTO's model of intervention, network, current communication strategy and case studies. From there, we developed a new approach to CAUTO's brand communication and social network to help target local entrepreneurs, and expand CAUTO's network on a larger scale. Some questions we had to ask ourselves were: "How can we continue to emphasize our corporate culture and identity to make it more personable to the broader audience/community?" "How can we increase our competitive advantage to build and maintain a strong reputation?" Linked below is the presentation slides for the new approach to CAUTO's communication strategy and projected brand communication tool. Created by Mia Aguimatang, Jhalak Bhatia, Marissa Lee and Emely Moncion. #StudyAbroad #GlobalEducation #InternationalExperience #CommunicationStrategy

New year, new #CloseUp, the series in which we take a look behind the scenes of some of the many amazing jobs performed by our #MesseFrankfurt Team✨🫶. Today, we are getting a little peak into the historical archives of the Messe Frankfurt🔎. Archivist Peter Kerwien shows us parts of the impressive historical collection and describes all the different tasks that his job entails. One of his favorite aspects of his work is the historical range of documents and objects he gets to examine daily, reaching from 1553 to the modern trade fairs of today.📃📚 #jobspotlight #behindthescenes #messefrankfurtteam #joblove #frankfurt #workplacespotlight #tradefairvibes #employeespotlight

🤝 World Fair Trade Day is a perfect occasion to recognize and support the incredible artists and artisans who enrich our communities with their creativity and craftsmanship. Artists often rely on their local communities for support, and there are many ways we can come together to make a positive impact. Here’s how you can get involved locally: 1️⃣ Attend Art Fairs and Markets: Check out local events featuring fair trade artists. Your attendance and purchases directly support their work. 2️⃣ Join Art Collectives: Many cities have art collectives and co-ops that promote fair trade practices. Joining these groups helps amplify their mission and impact. 3️⃣ Volunteer Your Skills: Offer your expertise in marketing, finance, or logistics to help fair trade artists grow their businesses. 💬 Let’s build stronger communities by supporting the artists and artisans who enrich our lives. #PositivePost #PearlHarbor #JapaneseInternment This holiday season will be the first without celebrating at Grammy's house. Grammy passed away in March of this year after a long battle with cancer. Her legacy of positivity, generosity, and unconditional care for those in need continues to inspire us. Grammy was born in a Japanese internment camp after my great-grandparents were forced from their home and family farm. They had no connection to the attack on Pearl Harbor or the war in the Pacific, yet their Japanese heritage led to this story. When I asked Grammy about the internment camp, she would say, "You know what I'd rather talk about? The wonderful people who harvested our farm, paid our property taxes, and ensured we had something to return to." Thanks to Dickey Farms of Bingen, Washington, my great-grandparents kept their home and farm, which remains in our family today. Grammy's focus on the good, even in hard times, and her life of true altruism are her lasting legacy. In the spirit of today, as we remember and honor Pearl Harbor and those who were wrongfully interned, I aim to honor Grammy by embodying her spirit of helping others and using her legacy to find the good in today. With that said, here comes a call to action. In the built environment industry, I believe we have the power to help people through buildings. These structures cure patients, drive technological breakthroughs, inspire learning and creativity, keep us safe during natural disasters, and so much more. More specific to how I'm going to try and help: I am committed to designing buildings that promote health, productivity, relaxation, and inspiration, all while using less energy, water, and materials. This means ensuring that buildings are resilient, maintainable, environmentally friendly, beautiful, functional, and cost-effective. Are you with me on this? I invite you to raise a glass this holiday season, toast to Grammy's legacy, and commit to doing good for others now and into the next year. How are you going to answer the call? Love you, Grammy. We miss you. #EngineerForGood #DesignForGood #SilverLining #GoodHuman
