Here's our take on how to make your technical product stand out in a crowded marketing. 🔥 Sell the solution, not just the specs: Nobody buys a camera for its megapixels; they buy it for the memories they can capture, even under the moonlight . 🔥 Marketing is a marathon, Not a Sprint: It's about building relationships, not just sales. 🔥 Get really chatty with your community: Engage with devs, marketers, and users. Their insights? Gold for your product's evolution. 🔥 Content is king: Use tech content to educate, not just to advertise. Show how your product solves real problems. 🔥 Stay flexible: Adapt your strategy with continuous feedback. Markets evolve, and so should you! -- link in comments

Why treat marketing like anyone can do it? It looks simple on the surface. But that’s exactly the trap. > Everyone has an opinion. > Few understand the craft. Think about it: Would you tell an engineer how to build a car? Probably not. YET marketing? It’s treated like an open field. Here’s why it’s NOT easy: Marketing is where art, science, and emotion meet. It takes skill & years to: ☑︎ Create messages that click. ☑︎ Build campaigns that convert. ☑︎ Understand what truly drives action. And it’s high stakes. Because bad marketing can kill a great product. The next time someone says, "Can we just post this?" OR "Why aren’t we on that platform yet?" Pause. Would you ask the same of a CFO or CTO? Marketing looks easy. It’s not. And when done right? It’s what keeps the doors open and the Wi-Fi paid. __ 👋 Follow Ali Kilicaslan for more GROWTH nuggets. Is this useful? ♻️ Share if you care :)

There is a reason why Marketing is called 'Marketing', because the 'Market' tells you and dictates what people are seeing, looking and buying. As Marketers, our single most important audience are the end-users, not your CEO, not your MD, not your financial director, not your sales or product director. Sure, the product or the service is the reason why people use or buy. That means having a good product/service is actually the bare-minimum because that's what they are buying. Then the pricing, location and availability are set in place for the end-users to make decisions. Marketing then comes in to talk, engage and communicate. We should always be on guard with what's going on in the marketplace, and we should always be alert of how people are interacting with your content, media and end products. We should always keep that in mind, where every copy, every creative, every placement, every campaign, every post and every interaction should be about the end-user. I'm not telling you not to listen to your boss or other functional leaders, but your focus should be about how to make sure the end-users get what you are telling them and the reasons why your product is worthy of spending the money on. Marketing has to be agile and move in front of (or at least on par) the market. The less red tape and the more technologically enabled it is, the better chance of your brand in winning the market.

just backers won’t ensure success. just marketing won’t define value. just user numbers won’t prove utility. just names won’t secure trust. just hype won’t mean longevity. so, go steady and build fr fr.

Marketing is often over complicated. Follow these 6 steps to find success.. 1. Find a market with a problem: Start by identifying a specific group of people facing a challenge. The more precise you are, the better your solution will resonate. 2. Research solutions: Dive deep into understanding the problem and explore various ways to solve it. Look at existing solutions and figure out how you can improve on them. 3. Develop the product based on the solution: Craft your product around the solution you’ve identified. Ensure it directly addresses the needs of your market. 4. Go to market based on that messaging: Your messaging should clearly convey how your product solves the problem. Make it relatable and straightforward. 5. Validate offers and angles: Test different offers and messaging angles to see what resonates most with your audience. This is where you fine-tune your approach. 6. Scale the winner: Once you’ve identified what works, double down. Allocate resources to scale up and reach a larger audience.

Good marketing gets your product in front of the right people. Great marketing systems get the product in front of people and tells you how to do it better next month. It can be the feedback loop to a better everything! Imaginary marketing gets people spending money on a product that they don’t really want. Imaginary marketing might be a great goal but it’s VERY hard to make money from. What with it being as real as 100x net ROIs. Better to settle on a system that gives your voice an audience and your strategy a roadmap. And if your current partners are just telling you what they’re doing, not how you and they can react to it, then get in touch 🤙 if you marketing that feels like a way forward rather than a flash in the pan 🍳
