🇧🇷 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗥𝟱𝗯𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 | Brazil's natural gas transport association ATGas met in early March with hydrocarbons regulator ANP to discuss implementing transition rules that would allow the industry to increase supply by raising R5bn for near-term pipeline improvements. 🇧🇷 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 | 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 Brazilian industrial development officials and the natural gas industry have renewed calls for de-bottlenecking the regulatory process in a new study, as revisions to key infrastructure access rules slips to September. The study from the ministry of development, industry and trade (MDIC) and pro-competitive industry group BVM does not reveal anything new about the many challenges facing competitive gas markets in Brazil.
