American Water Works Association's annual State of the Water Industry report surveyed more than 2,400 industry pros from North America. Protecting drinking water at its source was their top issue, followed by the recurring concerns of financial capital improvements as well as aging water infrastructure. These challenges demand improved policies, innovative technologies, and increased public-private partnerships. Governments, businesses, and civil society must work collaboratively to invest in resilient infrastructure, implement sustainable water management practices, and enhance public awareness about the value of water.
