💥 It’s going to take more than the annual holiday party to keep your employees engaged! 💼 What the Numbers Tell Us: 52% of employees are actively considering or already seeking a new job. Only 23% of employees strongly agree they trust their organization’s leadership. Perhaps the amount of layoffs in 2023 & 2024 have played a part? 90% of companies list retention as a top priority, but many don’t budget for L&D initiatives to equip managers. The Result: —> Many organizations will lose top talent in 2025 and rightfully so. Is it possible for organizations to focus both on people and profitability?
So many spaces operate under a reactionary mindset; the strategic payoff for being planful would help so many orgs with their retention.
A rare moment of truth-telling in the corporate world! 👏 The disconnect between saying "people are our priority" and actually investing in them is staggering. Fascinating how companies will spend thousands on holiday parties but balk at meaningful L&D budgets that could transform their retention rates. Would add that those 52% job-hunting aren't just chasing higher salaries - they're looking for genuine growth opportunities and leaders who walk the talk. The math is simple: investing in people = better retention = higher profits. Not exactly rocket science! The real question is: how many more "exit interviews" will it take for companies to get the message? 🤔Ariana Ruiz
Good statistics. This shows how important L&D (Leadership Development) is for retention. Sadly L&D is often seen as a perk rather than a retention strategy. It needs to be part of your "foundation" not something "extra" that you do.

3w📌 One tip organizations can do to engage employees while focusing on profitability is by fostering a culture of continuous learning. Equip leaders with development tools with the focus of boosting morale. If you take care of the people, the people take care of the work. Do you think it's possible to balance people and profits?
