This is phenomenal for the majority of use cases that are actually effective for professional services industries. We don't need the entirety of an LLM to weigh us down when developing models. Usually, specific use cases require targeted databases to learn from them. Tuning a smaller model with your dataset is much more cost-effective and efficient and is more likely to hedge the possibility of unwanted hallucinations. This matters greatly in areas like law or finance. I'm excited to see the open-source competitors roll out the counter punch to this one.
