The Grand Canyon is about to get even more grand. The South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park is eliminating single-use waste by launching a reusable foodware system—and our friends at Upstream are the powerful force making it happen. This kind of circular economy model for reuse is the cornerstone of USEFULL’s mission. We’re proud to see the National Park Service and National Park Foundation pursuing closed-loop reuse as the zero-waste solution for one of America’s greatest landmarks. On May 13, the biggest CSR challenge at NATEK - Activity for Charity - started 🧡. 132 Participants, forming 23 Teams, registered to participate in this year's edition. For comparison, in 2022, 122 Participants registered for the challenge and in 2024, 124 Participants. As you can see, the number of interested Participants increases every year 🤩! The previous 2 editions were held in autumn, but at the request of Participants, this year's edition is held in spring 🌿. Therefore there are also extra tasks in the area of ecology - one of the 1st is plogging 🗑️. Currently, Participants are exactly halfway through the challenge and they're one step away from reaching their 1st charitable goal target 💪. I would like to remind you that in addition to taking care of their well-being and the environment, they mainly care about helping those in need by covering kilometers for them.
