New Adventures on the Horizon: Expanding U.S.-Allied Defense Collaboration After an incredible journey co-founding and co-leading Pacific Impact Zone (PIZ), I’m excited to announce my transition to focus on expanding U.S.-Allied defense technology collaboration across the Indo-Pacific region. Rapid innovation and strong partnerships have never been more critical. While stepping back from day-to-day operations at Pacific Impact Zone, I remain a proud co-owner alongside Kevin Miyashiro. I’m deeply committed to supporting Hawaii- and mainland U.S.-based solution providers in defense markets, and I’m beyond grateful for our incredible team and partners who have helped shape the organization into what it is today. Looking ahead, I’ll be deepening my strategic advisory roles aimed at strengthening defense technology partnerships between the U.S., Japan, Australia, and other allied nations. These roles leverage my experience in rapid acquisition, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) consortiums, and allied nation engagement to accelerate technology transition in the INDOPACOM area of responsibility. The Indo-Pacific region stands at a critical inflection point for defense innovation and cooperation, and I’m energized by the opportunity to forge deeper technological partnerships that will enhance our collective security and industrial capabilities. I can’t wait to share more about some exciting new initiatives and opportunities to collaborate. If you’re working on any U.S.-Allied defense innovation projects, I’d love to hear about them! Thank you all for your support, and here’s to an exciting future ahead!

Bernice, I commend you on taking on this new important roll. I look forward to working with you to develop, and rapidly transition technologies to the warfighter. This is critical for our Allied partners across the INDO-PACOM AOR.
Really looking forward to building those partnerships with Allies and Partners with you Bernice Glenn Kissinger
How exciting. They are getting a good ally and support. Please let us know if the Pacific Northwest Mission Acceleration Center or Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC) can ever be of service. Don’t be a stranger.

2wBernice, absolutely outstanding work with Pacific Impact Zone! Your expertise, network and deep knowledge of the US procurement process, and ingrained drive (given your international up-bringing) to help Allies, particularly Japan, make you an indispensable asset to all initiatives to help accelerate the adoption of dual-use technology into the US, as well as into our Allies and friendly nations abroad…especially in the Asia-Pacific! We look forward to more contributions to the national security with Armatus!! Thank you!
